  1. I have no clue. Because it's not giving permission to access LTE but letting me view Debug info, I think it can be treated as an inactive SIM.
  2. Unbelievably, yes, I just tried. I set it to 41 only by deleting 25 & 26. It rebooted and saved the settings, but it did kick the MiFi to "LTE Preferred" whereas I had it on "LTE Only". There are also options to enable/disable 26 & 41 without needing to do my method if you are still wanting 25.
  3. I purchased one off of eBay recently to see if I could simply take my SIM from my Torque and put it into the MiFi. First off, I got the MSL very easily by doing a chat with Sprint, under contact us. I was not logged in nor did I give any more info than then needed to start the chat. Here's how it went: Customer Name: *** **** EMAIL: UPdownLoAD@*****.*** Chat Type: Device / Network Chat Reason: I am trying to factory reset an inactive hotspot, but I need the 6 digit code (MSL) to reset it please. The ESN is 256691XXXXXXXXXXXX Thanks!! Customer: I am trying to factory reset an inactive hotspot, but I need the 6 digit code (MSL) to reset it please. The ESN is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Thanks!! Chad H: I can try to get that for you just a moment . Customer: Thank you Chad H: No problem. Chad H: Just another second . Chad H: Its 356075. Customer: That worked, thank you very much!! I'll leave you a great survey!! Enjoy the rest of your day So that should hopefully be how easy it is for anyone to get an MSL. And yes, I did leave him a great survey as promised Simply put, I cannot put my SIM card from my Torque in the MiFI and get it to work. It appears even for LTE only mode that I need to have it match my phone number/MSID for "authentication" before it will "connect" to LTE. I'm not trying to connect to 3G, as that would require me to clone my ESN, not just simply program it to match my number. Unfortunately even with the MSL I have yet to figure out how to manually program it. But I can access DEBUG info and change the priority!! I can definitely see an LTE signal strength and sector ID like the iPhone. I do not have an inactive SIM, as it didn't come with one, so I can not verify that this info can be seen without an activated SIM card.
  4. Looks like it's up to $199 now, only a $50 savings from purchasing full retail from Sprint....
  5. I would assume it's under ##DATA#I am fairly sure I saw root on XDA when I was searching about the Mini.
  6. Looks like the Mini is going to be free for upgrades/new lines for Black Friday: http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/sprint-makes-it-easy-to-give-big-this-holiday-season.htm
  7. If I wasn't on SERO, I would be using Republic Wireless in a heartbeat. VoIP WiFi calling eliminates needing an Airave or having good coverage. And Sprint works OK when I'm on most major roads to be used as a "backup".
  8. It is a mirco-SIM. Says part number SIMGLT207R I wonder since it's removable, could it be used in another device (LTE only of course), like maybe a tablet or hotspot?
  9. I'm having a notification caching issue. I have audio alerts on, default, for 800 and LTE. I drove through an area I knew had LTE and was there for about 10 minutes. During that time, I was left alone for once- no text, alerts, calls, notifications; I wasn't using it, so the screen was off the whole time. It was nice, and not a Sprint issue for once A few minutes later, I checked my phone just to see if I still had LTE and the alerts decided to work. Chimes went off 8 times in a row, thought I hit the LTE Jackpot lol This issue may be effecting what you saw earlier of the missing signal bars. I've looked down several times and have seen no bars when it is very clearly connected to data. Thanks!
  10. most likely you have a ROM issue failing to correctly display the PRL. When I was using my Samsung Epic there was a SD card rom I could boot up into to update the PRL through a stock firmware. You should look for something similar as your PRL is out of date. Or you need to learn how to flash a new PRL
  11. Awesome to see! Where are you getting those speeds at?
  12. From personal experience, the first few days of a tower getting LTE may have be capped at 15Mbps. YMMV.
  13. Hey Mike, If you're taking feature requests, any chance of adding a "chime" for when loosing 800/LTE? Thanks!!
  14. Considering they are $450 up on eBay right now, might really be worth it
  15. So YOU are the other Sensorly morning mapper!! Yes, you accidentally found LTE in Granville
  16. I was able to stay on a call from 310 area to Newark last Tuesday for the first time in months. No idea what the difference is, but it works finally!
  17. Looks like you were connected to an Airave for voice. You probably picked up one of the LTE towers by Polaris briefly. But with that signal, hard to verify.
