If your iphone x is in excellent condition you could get much than that for it if you just sell it yourself, wouldn't even take that long.

How is the note 9 on sprint? I caved in and got the unlocked one from bestbuy...

Oh wow, so it's not just me. Yeah I have a lot of problems with it and am thinking of unplugging it permanently. They need to figure out why some phones connect to it just fine and others do not (late model band 41 capable) amongst a few other very key issues.

So do you think T mobile will keep the magic boxes ?

Mine only works during daylight hours (at least with my particular phone in my particular corner of NW Atlanta). It may not seem to make sense but my phone only connects to it from around 7 a.m. til around 7 p. M. Due to my work schedule, I'm often awake until 6 a. M. and sleeping until 2 p. M. So it definitely affects me as my data is useless when I'm at home and unable to connect to the MB . There must be some reason for this.

It seems like it's being automatically controlled over the air . So I guess you just can't use it all the time . I guess it might prevent Overuse or abuse .

I ended up getting my note 9 on AT&T. Still rocking a note 8 and s9+ on sprint though.

I m hung up on the note 9 and the Best Buy deal that trading in a iPhone X can yield a 545 dollar discount

That’s not bad at all that’s pretty impressive. I’m waiting to see how the battery life is before I decide on jumping on getting the phone. I’m on the fence still.

Are you asking me? Because the post you quoted doesn't have anything to do with that.

Sprint is already deploying in Canada border regions, and the Mexico border regions are be prepped right now for deployment hopefully by the end of the year.

Yes I was asking you. Good I can’t wait. I wanted to take a trip to the Canadian border soon.

I don't get your response at all. He asked a reasonable question. If you're not happy, why not leave. He didn't make any statements regarding how well it worked for him, at least in the initial post, so why you had to include that does not make sense.

I have a question. How long the borders between Mexico and Canada is the band 26 issues being sorted out? Like when will sprint be able to deploy there?

  9. If the merger doesn't go through, I think it would be interesting to see Sprint and T-Mobile work on a network sharing agreement, or a collaborative build-out WITHOUT having to merge completely. Bell and Telus did it in Canada when they did their 3G build-out and were abandoning CDMA, and it's not uncommon with carriers in different parts of the world.

I’m interested to see how this whole thing pans out because there is still sad chance that the merger maybe kiboshed so let’s see what happens if it takes more than a year I wouldn’t be surprised due to the scale of this merger.

  10. I have been seeing $699-$749 for the 6.1'' LCD iPhone, $899 for the 2018 iPhone X, and $999 for the 2018 iPhone X Plus. All rumors/speculation of course.

Well let’s see what happens. If it comes down cheap enough I might actually buy one out right.

  11. I have some family that went out to Bethany Beach, Delaware for vacation this week. Spoke with them today via Google Hangouts and the first thing they told me was that they were on WiFi because Sprint’s coverage/speeds were terrible (They have an HTC U11 and Samsung S8+, both fully updated.). Sure enough, I checked out the Rootmetrics “Fastest Speed Found” Map Layer for the Bethany Beach area and it shows a slew of slow red hexes signifying slow data. The other carriers show much better. Same for the “Best Technology Found” Map Layer. This isn’t a terrain issue. This is a site density and capacity issue. (I helped them report the issue via the My Sprint App) If T-Mobile Roaming can help address this in the event the merger fails, and until Sprint’s Capex catches up, so much the better.

I can definitely agree with you on this one. When I had boost mobile last year sprints coverage was improved without but it wasn’t much of an improvement. Just hope it got better. The Delaware market could use massive improvements...

  12. Yea that’s a mess. As they keep adding so will T-Mobile.

And one of sprints biggest markets which is New Jersey they do not have even close to uniform coverage or even contiguous coverage for that matter. Their overall coverage has improved but is still nowhere near T-Mobile is actual coverage. Along the highway where near where I live on for carriers work well because there’s a big cell site I say at least a couple hundred feet tall that services All for carriers But once you leave the main highway that runs through the east part of my town the coverage with the carriers does start to deteriorate.

  13. They absolutely need to buy spectrum, but the type of spectrum will matter, it will be super interesting to see how it plays out.

I just want to see them improve actual coverage. Building out a fifth generation network is nice but it means jack squat when the coverage is still not back great. Obviously Sprint and T-Mobile have improved tremendously speed wise I can definitely commend sprint And T-Mobile improving their coverage that’s great. But I want to have a third big player with a great combination of price speed reliability and overall amazing coverage obviously that won’t come cheap that’s a given. I’m waiting to see what happens with this whole thing is interesting to me.

  14. I was really hoping for some improved cameras but not much else. Im so on the fence its not funny. My 8+ functions relatively well, getting a little slow sometimes, but overall I have no complaints. Im definitely leaning towards waiting though in bcb hopes of more camera improvements

Well it doesn’t have a wide angle lense.... but on the plus side it has a large amount of storage space for the base model. It also has a very big screen which is amazing. And the much larger battery. So let’s see how this phone pans out.

My friend raves about T-Mobile in DE. He would get LTE down to Felton without issue, never drops to 4G. Fast around the air force base, and seems to have good coverage even out in farm country.

From personal experience, T-Mobile has been killing Sprint in Delaware for years.

But I’m talking about contiguous LTE coverage on the coastal highway that runs down the spine of Delaware. So if I was to compare T-Mobile to AT&T AT&T would do much better. Sprint has add a dual band LTE to most of their side so coverage is not the problem. It’s overall quality consistency and reliability that I look for.
