  1. I was at Bates Nut Farm this past Saturday, and noticed B41 being live there. About a month and half ago, it was mostly 3G, with hit or miss LTE 1900 when I was last there.
  2. I thought is was just me. It's been like that all over North County from what I've experienced in the past 2 weeks. Tons of 3G and 1x popping up all over the place that has LTE. Even at home for me, where I had kinda decent LTE signal from a GMO, that has become somewhat useless, and switches heavily between 3G and 1x. A couple of areas in Encinitas, Oceanside, and Vista seemed to be the worst of the worst. I was at a friends house last weekend, and couldn't use data, and phone calls were shot. There are 2 towers about 2 1/2 miles apart, and his house sits in the middle of the 2. One is LTE, and the other is 3G. Here's the interesting part. I called Sprint, told them my issue, they looked into the system, and didn't see anything, but put in a ticket. I gave the rep my exact location, what's been going on, and told her there are 2 towers nearby. According to her, and Sprint's map, the nearest tower is actually 5 miles SW of the location I was at, and 1 tower only. I told her no, there are 2 nearby. She said one tower is a stealth, and that was all. I know which one she's talking about, that's located at Guajome Park in a fake tree, along with other carriers. But anyways, I was in that area again this past Sunday. Nothing really changed. Anyone know what's going on?
  3. Discovered this B41 signal this morning in Carlsbad, over on Poinsettia Ln/Melrose Dr.
  4. Thanks for verifying. I wasn't exactly sure either, it's the only site in that area, and B41 is live. When I seen that site, I thought of this one I seen and took pics of back in January. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2144-network-visionlte-san-diego-market/?p=427746
  5. Passed the site this morning by accident on way to work, when I happened to notice antennas on a power pole. It's a GMO. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/822v7sns64ul784/AAByuZkoTooRGgJQL-Jli3lma?dl=0
  6. Found 2 more new B41 sites in North County today. First was in Carlsbad on Carlsbad Village Dr. Other was in Vista on Sycamore.
  7. Sprint need to do something on the Coast Hwy 101 in Carlsbad, beginning at Tamarack all the way to Poinsettia Lane. Always no service, and roaming alert comes on. I experience many times over the last couple of months, especially morning hours if I take the coast to work. When passing between the 2 on the freeway everyday, both morning and evening, I'm either on LTE 1900, B41, or 3G. Why would it be like that on the coast, compared to being on freeway? It's always that pocket with no service.
  8. Just curious. I took pics of this site over in Vista back in January this year. It has a permit for B41. Looking at Sponsor Map, it has that certain amount of days until possible upgrading. So my question is this site more difficult to upgrade compared to others? Is it waiting for more equipment to be installed? Reason I'm asking is because there are a handful of sites in the surrounding area to this one, that didn't have permits, and running B41. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1ono4y94caifsmf/AACLjigTXJNE2ovsReoURk90a?dl=0
  9. Any B41 in New Smyrna Beach? Even though I'm in CA, calling parents weekly being on HD voice every single time on our devices is awesome!
  10. There is a B41 site over on Leucadia in Encinitas that's stealth, and not running B41 yet. All 3 carriers share it, and all are in a gated fire department/water plant only employees can go into. All are in fake trees, and covered up very well like the military did the work with the green shades. T-Mob is the only visible one that isn't that blanketed unlike the others. You can see these sites passing by on a very busy street, but standing at the gate in parking lot, still wouldn't get a great look.
  11. We have many steath sites on light poles (streets and public parks), flag poles, and artificial trees. I've seen 3 on utility poles.
  12. That's exactly how it is here in North San Diego. Many GMO sites. Did you see the answer to my question below? http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2144-network-visionlte-san-diego-market/?p=425596
  13. Discovered another new B41 site in Oceanside this morning. Coast Hwy 101/Oceanside Blvd.
  14. It's running B41. I never seen what the site looks like. I haven't seen a permit for this site either, so I can't really answer your question what it's using. All equipment is inside the church, and I'm pretty sure there's something all the way upstairs of that thick church tower concrete also that's inclosed.
  15. I don't have a picture of the site. The site isn't visible. It's located in that Rev Ron Weddings church building facing Douglas Dr. When you pass by, you can actually see the door way with the "Caution" sign.
  16. Here's the screenshots I took early this morning, and this evening.
  17. I noticed B41 live on Douglas Dr in Oceanside this evening. Won't reach to Douglas/North River areas. So close to me, and fell short again. Will get some screenshots tomorrow. Last Wed, Thur, and Friday, I also notice being on EV-DO passing by that site during morning hours heading to work, and normal LTE 1900 in evenings. Can old GMO sites go live with B41 if capable?
  18. Discovered 2 more B41 sites in Oceanside last weekend, and then went back this eve to get some screenshots. At the Harbor, and over on the 76/College Blvd area in the shopping center. I parked a few hundred feet in front of store where the site is located. I bet the Radio Shack, which is next door to the building that the site is located behind, and their Sprint staff more than likely doesn't know it's Spark live (unless someone is a member here) lol. Too bad I live 2 1/2 miles away from that site on the 76 to experience it at home. Oceanside Harbor 76/College Blvd
  19. Last weekend, while I was driving by a park I knew that has 2 stealth sites, and noticed a stealth site showing all equipment on it, crews have been working on. So yesterday, I decided to go back. I took pics of this site, and the other (pic 2) a few hundred feet from it. Can anyone explain what we are looking at for a site like this? There are many sites like this at parks throughout. This is the first time seeing a site like this in person showing all equipment on it.
  20. I was down in San Ysidro at the outlets earlier this afternoon. Haven't been down there since earlier last year. Been down many times before the upgrading and work, and was very surprised to see a huge improvement! Before that, data, texting, and calling was useless. I meant horrific! Couldn't make calls/texts inside, and outside of stores. I should say the entire area in general. It's not like that anymore! I picked up LTE behind the outlet facing the fenced off border. Tried to make a call on LTE, but couldn't. No dial tone, after 3 attempts. I made a 4th, but it was a very quick dropped call. I remained on 3G most of the time, and calling/data/texting wasn't a problem at all. Data was pretty good also on LTE. Did a speed test, and was impressed with download, but uploading was sluggish when I browsed a site. For some odd reason, my phone couldn't find, or connect to a server being on 3G to do a speed test, but LTE it connected and found a server. Below are screenshots. Oh, I noticed that long time Sprint store is no longer there!
  21. I wish the old Premier Program would come back!
  22. Was browsing through Youtube, and ran into this interesting news piece from 2 months ago, about techs in San Diego being injured installing antennas throughout the county.
  23. Thanks for that recommendation! After reading your response, I went into Playstore, installed, and played around with it. As mentioned, very small, and light app that isn't hard on the phone. Extremely fast, and very smooth browser, that has tight security, antiviurs prevention/features while browsing at the same time. And of course, blocking those shady pop up ads. This is something I've been wanting on a brower that has everything combined into it, besides installing single security apps like Norton, McAfee, etc., that really didn't do anything for me, and let those malicious pop ups, and ads slip through running Dolphin. FireFox uninstalled. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ksmobile.cb&hl=en
  24. North Escondido on the 15 freeway. The site is a can't miss green water tower, with a few green antennas, along with equipment that can be seen on both sides of freeway on a hill.
