  1. At 600 GB, you are using on average about one fifth of the capacity of your sector every second of every day. That is not abuse of Clearwire -- it is abuse of your fellow users of this shared resource. But your username already seems to indicate that. AJ
  2. Several posts have been hidden. S4GRU does not host rants, nor does S4GRU serve as a promotional vehicle for T-Mobile "nifty shit." Further violations will result in disciplinary action. Got it? AJ
  3. Is Google Hangouts even available for iOS? I honestly do not know, as I do not keep up with what Apple does or does not anti competitively prohibit from the App Store. AJ
  4. Yup. As someone trained in photography and film, I can certainly vouch for that. Smartphone cameras are for occasional, casual usage. AJ
  5. The Grand Dragon is also the Grand Wizard. You do not question -- unless you are one if those who supports phone miscegenation. AJ
  6. You do not question the "purity" of the Grand Dragon. AJ
  7. Do not treat your handset as a "GameBoy." Problem solved. If you want a gaming system, get an actual gaming system. AJ
  8. What if mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, grams, gramps, nana, papa, etc., do not have your holy chosen phone. Could an an OS agnostic app bridge that gap? Hmm... AJ
  9. I bought out my Sprint contract for early upgrade eligibility, then used my Best Buy Reward Zone Premier Silver certificates to go with the klan of white G2 pre orders. White power! AJ
  10. No, you misinterpret the invite. This means new iPad covers. Super fabulous! AJ
  11. And the n-penis length to beat has been established. AJ
  12. No, white screens do not affect power consumption unless you are using an AMOLED display. And why would you want to do a thing like that? AJ
  13. You will not get the engineering screens on the other domestic variants. Only the Sprint version is appropriate for wireless network watchers. AJ
  14. Have you gone spotting yet and made a tally of how many VZW sites are in the city limits and then how many of those have been overlaid with LTE? AJ
  15. I am lying in bed, typing on a tablet. I got "scooped" while I was still writing. AJ
  16. Will not fly. The unpaired WCS C and D blocks are being used as de facto guard bands to protect SDARS. Plus, those blocks are only 5 MHz TDD. AJ
  17. You can have the Model G2 in any color -- so long as it is black. AJ
  18. Not really. Milan is as much of an agnostic wireless network enthusiast as I have met. He and I have been working on a T-Mobile LTE article for the past several months. AJ
  19. The "knock on" part refers to the LG G2 feature. The "wood" part refers to the reaction that many phone nerds get. AJ
  20. No, to knock on wood, you need to go with the LG G2 instead. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/4099-lg-g2-the-first-sprint-tri-band-lte-handset-was-lg-optimus-g2/?p=219620 AJ
  21. No, barring further evidence, I do not believe that for a second. The phone does not need to be answered. If a traffic channel is set up on the airlink, then the connection has been made -- whether the call is actually answered or rejected. And that would mean international routing, then international rerouting back to voicemail. If you want to avoid that altogether, then you need to be on only LTE, since it does not support circuit switched voice. AJ
  22. One, do not presume to know what I am buying. But, two, I do not pay for crappy plastic. You can pick up that slack. And who cares if HTC is "dead" in six months? What matters is what is in your hands before/if that happens. If HTC is going belly up, you would be wise to grab the One max as one of the last superbly constructed non Apple handsets. AJ
  23. No, I think the juxtaposition must be a photo illustration: how does your wallet feel about paying for cheap plastic, "pleather," and garish AMOLED versus aluminum and calibrated LCD? AJ
