  1. I try Verizon Lumia 822 on ATT's network. Kind of wired. But voice quality is pretty good.
  2. I think WiMax in NYC is owned by NYC Government.....And they are really fast.
  3. How much did you paid for that T1 in your dorm in 1998? $1000/month?
  4. Wasn't that 800Mhz is for roaming on Verizon?
  5. As my traceroute shows, they dump most of their transit route to Level3. Why not using SprintLink? This is something I don't understand.
  6. Oh, That's why a Sprint Hotspot's WiMax is so much faster than Clear's home modem
  7. As far as I go over wikipedia on Rev. B. Looks like Rev. B is faster only because of carrier aggregation. And sounds like if Rev. B is deployed on Sprint, it will only increase the congestion.
  8. There was a World called GSM. There was another World called CDMA. The world was divided. But now, they are united under LTE. Surely I know there are FDD LTE and TD-LTE. But it was not fundamentally different. .
  9. It might not be the reason. I tried Verizon's service. They have 800 on CDMA and doesn't seem like they have better voice quality than Sprint.
  10. I guess bigger speakers and stronger signal may be the reason.
  11. Is iDEN's voice quality superior than CDMA? That's what I feel like. Not sure if others feel the same.
  12. It is not a technical question. It is a philosophical question.
  13. What's the problem with new Airave? I did not experence any problem. And new Airave give me 3G instead of 1x.(Although I could simply turn on WIFI)
  14. In the end, the question will be, do we really need a 1Gbps speed on cellphone.
  15. Maybe Robert should have a FAQ session. So that I won't need to ask every question you have wrote before.
  16. And probably we will see that all come to true in 2023 at the current pace.
  17. I know Verizon/ATT were huge and have the power to (do whatever they feel fit). One thing I don't understand is, while GSM carriers embrace HSPA+, why no CDMA carrier embrace EVDO Rev B
  18. But that doesn't work out for clearwire, though they were first into WiMAX
  19. I was thinking when a carrier deploy a new technology. And only after two years they need to do upgrade. Is it really good on ROI?
  20. For Verizon using LTE Release 8, how difficult it is to upgrade to LTE-Advanced? Does it needs cellphone side support?
