  1. I get the occasional ad here and there and I have the pro version. It says something along the lines of 'Search for Sprint cell phones on yahoo'. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  2. His 96% must count rural people as not American, and he only counts urban America as true Americans. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  3. My best friend doesn't even get over 24.06Mbps on his iPhone 5C on T-Mobile LTE. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  4. Remember, his bark is worse than his bite. My best friend complains of constant echo's in his voice calls, on both his and his wife's phones. And there is no possible way that 2 iPhone 5C's are defective at the same exact time. And then he finally tells me that friends of his are complaining too for the same issue. So T-Mobile is already having issues. And this is in Vegas, a small city compared to New York City and Los Angeles! Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  5. I haven't gotten the Spark update yet. But I am waiting patiently for it.
  6. Holy restocking fees is right! I turned down a black iPad mini because I wanted the white one more and didn't want to pay the restocking fee. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  7. If you wanted an android device to compliment your iPhone, the Nexus 5 would be perfect. Now, back to the topic at hand. I wish they would fix the PRL on the iPhone so it would use 1x800 as first priority. Sent from my Josh's iPad using Tapatalk 2
  8. The Nexus 5 is great, but in the desert doesn't really like roaming on Verizon. It has the major advantage of 1x800 vs the iPhone's, and frankly, that will always be the problem with the iPhone until the PRL changes. The key advantage of my 5S is that out in the middle of absolutely nowhere, it picks up native Sprint service almost 30 miles north of Baker, CA, when the Nexus is just picking up roaming. (And no, it's not 1x800, because the Baker, CA site is/was a GMO.) I should end by saying, the Nexus 5 is a very strong performing phone rf wise, so please nobody misconstrue what I'm saying. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  9. Why would you take it back? I have great service with this phone, and even have coverage in many places my Nexus 5 can't cling to, surprisingly. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  10. LG is just slow. That has been a proven fact in the past. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  11. That's what all us 5S users thought, but they moved the carrier.prl file for Sprint models. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  12. 1st, even jailbroken, you cannot modify the PRL on iPhone 5S and 5C models. They hid the PRL on the Sprint version for some bizarre reason. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  13. Apple went with the automatic pings to eliminate such a problem based on the fact that the iPhone 5S is Dual Band to Sprint, but is actually a 13 LTE band device (model A1453, the Sprint & Verizon variant), and therefore they took an extremely smart approach to this whole situation by using pings to check. And the ping is so short lived that you would never even know it was happening unless a call comes in or you know how the tech worked.
  14. More like crazy! Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  15. I should clarify that I work around water on a regular basis, so a waterproof case is a necessity for me. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  16. Most were swallowed up by AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  17. You guys are crazy. I have to have mine in a case. I now have a Lifrproof frē compatible with TouchID on my 5S. I'm so paranoid because I don't want to break my screen or scratch my beautiful gold! Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  18. Are most of these/all of these carriers using CDMA based networks? Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  19. And I thought Vegas was bad for that stuff. smh Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  20. Traffic jams at 1 am? Yuck! Who wants to be out at such a horrible hour driving around? Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  21. We don't know. It would have been nice to see larger internal memory, but they have reasons why. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  22. Jamison, that could be. But it could be what Rocket87 said. Therefore, I'm casting my vote for both!
  23. In some circumstances you may have to change the preferred network type to LTE(recommended) in the mobile network settings menu. I had to do that to get Sprint back after putting an AT&T SIM card in one time and then putting my Sprint SIM card back in. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  24. Hard task Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
  25. If your phone is already working on Sprint, just pop the SIM card back in once you come home, and boom. You are done! It's that easy! Sent from Josh's iPhone 5S using Tapatalk 2
