If phone prices go cheap enough, then there will be no need for MVNO's. And of course, that banks on everyone qualifies for phone financing too.

Funny, I've never missed a call when I'm up in Fresno working. My friend has had missed calls on AT&T though. And I've only ever dropped a few calls up there, fortunately.

First, Shentel is doing their own deployment using Sprint's spectrum, so if there are eCSFB issues, it's Shentel's fault. 2nd, yes you should contact Sprint so they can relay the information to Shentel. Or you can contact Shentel directly and let them know. They have been really fast in deploying, so they should listen and fix the issue as fast as possible.

Smart move to stay away from the Moto X. This late in the game it's worthless to buy a single band phone, and with the Nexus 5, when the Sprint T-Mo deal goes through, we will have a lot more LTE coverage to use.

No, if the company is kept a publicly traded corporation, then SoftBank would have the 52% minimum majority, DT 20%, and the other 28% would go to investors. It's very likely that the number of outstanding shares will increase dramatically with this arrangement. Or they would take the company private and SoftBank will own 80% and DT the other 20%.

Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5, HTC One Max, HTC One (M8), Galaxy Mega, Nexus 5, LG G2, and 3 others, can't think of them off hand.

First, single band LTE phones are going bye bye, as well as the dual band iPhones when Apple discontinues them. Soon the only phones you will be able to buy are triband.
Turned my Nexus 5 back on. So far, the LTE isn't that much weaker for me. Later today I'll look for band 41 LTE. Not sure if I'll find it in Visalia or not though.

Well, the Spark update is finally downloading on my Nexus 5. Guess it's time to get my phone turned back on so I can try to find Spark in Visalia.

Yeah, I don't think the Rio will allow that, lol. Boulder Highway has excellent 3G coverage for the 95 south to about Russell. Even had decent WiMax. As for Band 41, I don't expect much down The Strip for a long while.

The Strip is far from complete. However, most areas of Vegas I visit are further along, and service is very stable for me when I'm in town. Data is slow on many 3G only sites right now, but over time that will improve.

Hopefully it doesn't start overheating. Can you turn off the vibrate responses to button touches? I find that annoying on it.

I really don't see what people like about the Hydro Vibe. It looks like the LG Viper but made by Kyocera. :/
