    Many of the towers in Vegas so far are getting 6 RRU's, and yes, AlcaLu is doing Vegas. And these are 3 Sector sites. Not sure if AlcaLu RRU's can do CDMA1900 and LTE1900 at the same time. I just answered my question. Digging thru the FCC Docs, I found that AlcaLu RRU's can do CDMA/LTE at the same time.

    OEM's hire local contractors to do the work, so feasibly, no. But if that local contractor were to be hired by the OEM to travel to another location to work on the buildout there, then yes. In some cases, this is how it's being done.

    That's entirely possible. Sprint recently reduced the price of the Tri-Fi Hotspot to $50 for a 2 yr contract, leading me to believe they are getting ready for a new hotspot device. Maybe it'll have LTE on 2600 seeing that Clear already has some LTE on 2600 ready to go.

    I don't know if anyone knows for sure, but LTE 800 is supposed to start deployment in the 4th quarter of this year, and Sprint was talking about LTE 2600 on phones later this year as well. It may be that both bands are built into phones at the same time, or LTE 2600 could be reserved for flagships first and then added to mid range phones later.

    Wow, it's now accurate for where I am in Visalia. It shows 'Fair' signal now. Before it used to show 'Good', but it isn't that way. I wonder if they are using new calculations to account for new interferences.

    Agreed, but they establish stuff like this because of people complaining about every little thing. From junk in the yard being a nuisance to the infamous "Cell signals give you cancer". But there has to be some order, so they set up rules like that.
