  1. I would like to know myself, but I haven't seen a map. I just have listings of the 97 Sprint markets with data. I would love to get a hold of one. If anyone out there has a Sprint market map, hook a brother up!!! - Robert

  3. Bring it on! Competition is a good thing. HTML5 is going to open up a chance for more OS'es. Its the App Base that limits opportunities for competition. And this will help level the playing field for new OS'es. There is a level of irony in the fact that Apple pushed HTML5 so hard to destroy Adobe and now HTML5 is the single biggest threat to OS beyond Android. S4GRU is now mobile...posted via Forum Runner

  6. I've just read through all the posts about the new FB09 ICS build and watched the two videos and I've decided against the install. I think I'm gonna wait and see what the next build is like. Now that the version has been leaked, I expect Calkulin is going to be all over it (as well as many others). I imagine there will be a Calk ICS ROM within 30 days now. But maybe CM9 will be in a much better shape for E4GT by then, too.
  7. Back home after a week of lecturing. Double date with my wife and our best friends. Now back to S4GRU.com work!

  8. I remember the day that Clearwire filed with the FCC to use wider channels. But I have not heard one peep since. I have read several things about Clearwire planning its TD-LTE in 20MHz carriers. So I guess we can assume that they received approval. But after a quick Google search, I am not able to confirm with certainty. - Robert
  9. To me, it's almost unconscionable with how much profit Apple makes on the iPhone and the iPad that they don't make them here in the U.S. The amount of high paying jobs that we would have exporting Apple products all over the world from America. It's really sad. And I just think of all those politicians who complain about all the jobs going out of the country. They are extremely critical of companies that do their manufacturing overseas, even when the companies are unprofitable and losing money and have no choice. But in the case of Apple, they are the most profitable company in the World. They are making money hand over fist! And they ship out all these jobs that could be done here. And those same politicians love Apple. It's very sad.
  10. Sprint Network Vision has not been deployed in Manhattan, yet. Sprint has 1,121 cell sites in the New York City market. It is going to take months and months to overhaul every site to Network Vision standards. Stay tuned to S4GRU.com for the latest on Sprint Network Vision in New York.

  13. I'm afraid your analysis is probably the destination we will reach.
  14. SprintNYC...although Network Vision is active in your area, you cannot trust CSR's for the information. We know several Sprint CSR's in these forums and they have not been told anything about when and where Network Vision work is occuring beyond what has been released to the press already. Stay tuned to S4GRU.com for all the latest Network Vision info. And thanks for joining!
  15. Not yet. I've been busy dealing with the fall out from the SFO article since I posted it. Going to dinner with friends tonight. But I hope to stay up late and try it out tonight after I get home.
  16. Here is a link for an ICS leak, Build FB09. It's not the CM9 version though... http://forums.acsyndicate.net/showthread.php?4951-Stock-Deodex-d-pre-rooted-FB09-4-0-3
