    I've always been happy with WiMax performance even with one bar. Still always beats 3G. With one bar though, upload speeds really start to drop off. There are times with one bar I've gotten 6MB download and under 100k upload on WiMax. S4GRU is now mobile...posted via Forum Runner

    Sprint has said they will be releasing 12+ LTE devices in 2012. That means soon they are going to be announcing devices like wildfire! We know that three of the 12 have been announced the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, LG Viper and a WiMax/LTE MiFi hot spot. But what are you hoping is up next? Looking for a specific model? Looking for specific specs (like quad core)? Looking for a specific manufacturer? Looking for specific frequency set? Tell us what you want in Sprint's next announced LTE device!     Sprint currently uses bundled T1 lines for backhaul. These work OK for a 3G network before the smartphone explosion. However, they are insufficient now. Network Vision will correct the backhaul issue. Upgrading to fiber or microwave bridge to fiber in almost all instances. In the interim though, Sprint is still upgrading T1's trying to improve performance somewhat. Even though Network Vision is under way. S4GRU is now mobile...posted via Forum Runner
