  1. I'm not willing to take a bet on it. From everything of his I have read, he must work in a high level of Customer Service Support or Technical Support. He is reporting what he sees/hears in memos, system notifications and conference calls. If it varies from reality, then Sprint could not implement or chose not to implement what was disclosed. Robert
  2. Welcome to S4GRU and congrats on your first post. I did see the ISN post yesterday, but I interpreted that as to mean that LTE device customers will get a text on June 7th alerting them of the launch date for their market. I didn't interpret it to say that they will get a text stating that it's now live. My contact in Sprint Product Development could not verify this at all. It's not in any of his info. This doesn't mean it is not going to happen as ISN says, because I regard ISN very highly. The guy works for Sprint, after all. He reports what he sees. I just was not able to confirm the info myself in this instance. Robert
  3. Sprint sure has a lot of iPhones it needs to sell, though. Robert
  4. So far, I've enjoyed your posts. You call them like you see them, but giving every carrier a fair shake of your analysis. All is good. Carry on! Robert

  6. Kind of like we Sprint fans can insult stupid Sprint decisions, but as soon as a Verizon or AT&T Fan Boy show up and do it, we get all pissy? Robert
  7. Yup. But the first article is delayed. It will either be tonight or early tomorrow morning. Robert - Posted from my E4GT with ICS using Forum Runner

  10. I couldn't order from the pre order screen because it would not let me select the correct line to upgrade. It defaulted to the wrong account and an error page popped up when I tried to change it to the correct line. I called the number listed on the pre order page and they told me to sign in to my account like normal. Then go to my account, where it list all your lines/devices. Select the line you want to upgrade and choose upgrade this device in the drop down menu. When you do this, all of the devices available for order appear, including the Galaxy S3 in white and pebble blue in 16GB or 32GB. 199 or 249. You can proceed with order and payment from there. 12. Sound reasoning. But if you wait until the end of the year, you may be just ahead of 800/2500 LTE support. You are in a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario. Robert via Kindle Fire using Forum Runner

  14. I always renew for the reasons irev210 mentions above. I will sometimes hold a renewal for a certain device, but the only reason not to renew is flexibility to leave. If you plan on staying, you might as well renew and get the subsidy on the next device. Losing approx $20 per month in value per line on your bill seems pointless. In my case, I have 4 lines. That's $80/month in value total. Cant let that get by. Right now, 2 of my lines are out of contract. However, I just preordered the GS3 today on contract. I will be left with just one line off contract...ready for a new device should something tickle my fancy. Robert via Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  15. These types of customers will not be happy at Tmo either. Or VZW or ATT. I know lots of whiny bitches. They can never be satisfied. They are always whiny bitches. Robert via Kindle Fire using Forum Runner

  17. Placed my preorder this morning. 32GB in Pebble Blue. Part of me is afraid that if there are delays, it might be only a certain size or certain color. But I've rolled the dice. My thinking is that 32GB will be less popular and maybe they will have less trouble with the preorders. There was no mention of delivery date, shipping info or launch date in the order pages.
