  1. If you use 4G WiMax in the Richmond area, you probably should wait. Robert
  2. The Richmond market is not scheduled to begin Network Vision/LTE deployment until some time in 2013. Robert, S4GRU.com
  3. Deployment will happen over the entire market. Since Northern VA is a hodge podge of hundreds of communities, they must feel the only way to describe the communities is "Washington DC/Arlington/Alexandria." As for NV upgrades complete near Dulles, there is no way to know what they are talking about. So much extremely varied info comes from Sprint CSR's, I do not know what they were looking at it. They often do not even know what they are looking at themselves. However, there are two DC sites that are fully upgraded, and approx. 100 sites with 3G upgrades. More and more will be converted every week. And probably in the next 3 to 4 weeks, intermittent live signals will start showing up around the market in all kinds of places. Robert
  4. I added a few that was on your list, but wasn't on my PR that I received via email. However, there were more on my list that were not on yours. Weird. Thanks. Robert
  5. by Robert Herron Sprint 4G Rollout Updates Monday, September 10, 2012 - 8:05 AM MDT This morning, we received a Press Release from Sprint Marketing that shows some of Sprint's plan in their LTE deployment through the end of the year. In this Press Release, Sprint officially names 12 more markets that have received/starting to receive LTE deployments currently, and names more than 100 communities names. None of these are any surprise to people who follow S4GRU closely, especially those with access to Sponsor content. In fact, this Press Release is a big confirmation of all of our data to date. This will be an exciting update to the millions of Sprint customers in these areas and now makes many more markets official. Stay with S4GRU to plot the progress!
  6. There are several completed NV sites in Marina del Rey. You probably were on completed sites. You can see them in the NV Sites Complete maps in the Sponsors section. Robert
  7. I'm not sure how often Richard does it. However, I do it usually every week. Robert
  8. Yes, if you want both, then you ask for "Christmas." Robert
  9. In launched areas, service is still being deployed. There will be more coverage and the LTE service will get better and better every week until the entire market is complete. Robert, S4GRU.com

  16. Yes, in many instances. However, in most Ericsson markets that have 4G LTE deployed, the 3G is yet to be upgraded and is not connected to new backhaul. In our NV Sites Complete map in our Sponsor section, it shows whether a site has 4G upgraded only or 3G/4G together. Robert via Samsung Galaxy S-III 32GB using Forum Runner
  17. We are talking about launch. LA will not launch in September. However, I think that some sites with start going live this month. They just probably will come and go until launch. Robert via Samsung Galaxy S-III 32GB using Forum Runner
