  1. Part of me wonders if the LTE 800 FIT will be in BTR? It makes sense with their site spacing. However, they can only deploy LTE 800 in a place where they can shut off all iDEN traffic. Unless they shunt it all in the area to 900. Which I guess they could do. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  2. My direct fiber connection at work can get sub 10ms pings some times. Best ping ever? 4ms. Seems impossible. The speed test server in ABQ must be immediately adjacent to our backbone connection point. Because if I run a speed test server in Texas, it will jump to the 20-30ms range. It blows my mind to have latency this fast. Even 100ms is really fast if you think about it. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner

  4. Yes they do!! "Daddy needs the newest devices. He runs a blog." Seriously though, my 16 year old and 12 year old are lucky to have smartphones, the way I see it. One has an EVO 3D, the other a EVO 4G. Way more than sufficient. And since I work and pay the bills, I figure mommy and daddy can have the upgrades. I will be adding a line this year for Child #3. Another upgrade opportunity for me! Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner

  6. Its possible. Only saw two listed the last time I seen anything about them. You would think there would be one per OEM, though. So maybe one in AlcaLu territory somewhere. How about Phoenix? That's where I would put it. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner

  8. In our Premier Sponsor section we have complete maps of all the Clearwire Expedience sites still in operation around the country, including the St. Cloud market. I appreciate the update info about the backhaul and tower leases. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  9. No. New Orleans market and somewhere in Montana are the two LTE 800 FIT's I know of. Also note that there were several Network Vision FIT's. Ericsson had a LTE FIT in Waco and a 3G FIT in the Houston market. Samsung had a LTE FIT in Hammond, IN and a 3G FIT in a rural area east of Kankakee, IL. Alcatel Lucent had a combined 3G/LTE FIT in the Central Jersey market. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner

  14. No surprise to me. Sprint internally has been saying Q2-2013 for LTE 800 and LTE 2600 capable devices. In the LTE 800 development roadmap, it said Sprint wants to get the LTE 800 FIT up before giving final OEM programming for device production. That will not happen until late Q4-2012. 15. I think they will start work right after the first of the year. Once they have enough coverage for pre launch, then I think they will start turning on sections of the city. I think the earliest we will see a prelaunch in this market is February/March. Robert
  16. I love the new path on Sensorly that shows someone using Sprint LTE on Sensorly on the 1R/19L runway out at KICT on both an approach and take off. Good stuff! http://sensorly.com/fullscreen/map/4G/US/USA/Sprint/lte_310sprint#q=wichita,kansas Robert
