clbowens
Does anyone know how to contact (email, Facebook, etc) someone at Sprint to tell them about issues I'm having (the call quality in my area is not good)? I have put many complaints in the My Sprint app (for over a year, 2 different phones), but the call quality still is not great. For most calls, it keeps breaking up. In certain area, the call quality is great. It's just here at home and sometimes where I work.

ingenium
Do you have a strong signal while it's happening? If so, then it's due to 1x being overloaded. I've had the same issue in SF for probably the past 5 years, and Pittsburgh for the last several (it's usually OK outside the city). It got worse when they thinned CDMA to expand B25.The only solution honestly is VoLTE. They won't deploy more CDMA macros at this point, so that's the only way to alleviate voice congestion.Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

At least I know, but I hope they can then get VoLTE out sooner rather than later.

I have a great CDMA signal at home (-60 rssi), but I got an Airave just for voice because of this issue. The Airave has a dedicated 1x carrier that doesn't overlap with the macro (it actually overlaps slightly with B25...), and calls are crystal clear while I'm on it. If I get handed off to the macro though, the quality is unusable. So requesting an Airave may be a solution for you. Mercurial1
There is also an issue when you register for calling plus then stop using it. The path the call takes through the network is causing issues. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
Joski1624
If you've got a rooted phone, you might try toggling the CDMA bands (class 1 is 1900 and class 10 is 1x800) in a app like network signal guru to see if one or the other is better for you. Some phones also have this ability through the data menu, but my experience with that method was nearly disastrous. The phone I tried toggling BC 10 on got stuck in a boot loop. The only way I could stop it was airplane mode as soon as it booted into android (before the radio became active) and reenabling BC 10.
