In what appears to be a new obsession for Sprint, they are set to launch a new 3G phone this weekend on both Sprint & Virgin Mobile. This new phone has Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 3.5" touchscreen, 800MHz processor, 5MP camera with flash & camcorder, and supports mobile hotspot. Plus it also includes NFC support, and comes with a free 50GB cloud storage account through Box.com.

 

The LG Optimus Elite is also eco-friendly. The Sprint version will be available in both Titan Silver and White, while the Virgin Mobile version will only be available in Titan Silver

Maybe this will show up on Republic as well. The Optimus S is ancient.

Republic needs to offer 2 or 3 phones during the next beta opening, and yes this would be a nice one for them to offer.

I wonder how agressive they will go. With the EVO 3D making it to Virgin, there is an outside chance it could also go to republic. That LG windows phone is another candidate. Some Samsung Galaxy entry-level 3G phone could also make it on to republic.
