This is a great PSA but does anybody know how it is possible to send out a mass text without having the phone numbers or consent?

Small cell isolation could be possible. And have the small cells push a text to everyone connected? Not sure if possible but sounds plausible.

Well..considering they were being recorded, I assume that the ones who were willing gave their phone numbers up before entering the theater.

I mute/silence my phone before the theatre goes dark. I wouldn't have even known I had any texts until I checked once the movie was over.
