ZTE Aurora

In early December, ZTE submitted the ZTE N9100 (aka Aurora) to the FCC. It includes support for CDMA band classes 0,1, & 10 and LTE Band Class 25. Rumor sites around the web indicate this phone will be released as a prepaid device on one of Sprint's prepaid groups.

I also discovered on the FCC docs, that this phone does not support SVDO.

Edit: According to the FCC label location document, the label is plastered with the Sprint logo, so this may be released as a Sprint branded device.

The cool thing about ZTE handsets is that they come with Baidu as the default search engine. Oh, and the Chinese government archives all of your phone calls, SMS, and e-mail for free.

;)

Possibly it will show up on sprint as you go. Its not listed as a launch device though it says the device list will evolve after launch.

The Warp and Warp Sequent are certainly nothing to write home about. The Sprint as you go could be a possibility.

Since they are bottom fishing why not add a Huawei to the mix.

Kyrocera, ZTE and Huawei............what a trio.

As much as the offering has no appeal to me, the Sprint Pay As You Go may have a niche.

It's a very good possibility. This could be biggest niche that Sprint can come up with. Totally unlimited for 70/mo is a better deal than $110.
