  1. No, no Spark yet but I believe they are working on it in the Providence Metro area. I was in Warren and Bristol today and the service was good. They must be doing something in your area for the service to be so bad. Have you spotted any full builds yet? Sent from my Galaxy Tab 3 10.1
  2. No troubles just below you in the Cranston/Warwick area. I seem to have HD voice at my house, the calls sound incredible.
  3. Band 41 in North Smithfield? So much for concentrating in the Metro areas! Sent from my LG-LS980
  4. It wasn't that long ago you could buy a decent car for a grand. This pricing sure makes my 200.00 LG G2 from eBay look like a steal. Sent from my LG-LS980
  5. It's not a bad deal (actually it's good) if your an Apple loyalist. Makes me wonder however where Sprint stands with that insane commitment it inked with Apple just to carry the brand. Could they be so far behind in sales that they need to do this just to help satisfy the commitment?
  6. I went ahead and switched back to Sprint. For my fellow RI peeps, Spark is up in running in most of Warwick, Providence and Cranston. The corporate store personnel informed me that they have yet to make the announcement. **EDIT** After some testing I can find no evidence that Spark is running here. Nothing has shown up as Band 41. The corporate store rep told me that the circle of arrows on my G2 had meant Spark and compared it to my Optimus G which isn't Spark enabled and just shows 4G. I'm not complaining about the great (10-20Mps) download speeds I'm getting but as usual the Sprint Corporate Store personnel are clueless. <a href=http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/a/957529333</a>
  7. It's been quiet here. I just picked up an LG G2 for me and I've got an Optimus G I'll give my wife. I can hop on a 7 member Framily plan so I'd like some input from my Providence Peeps before I switch over. Any input?
  8. Anybody have any experiences in greater Pvd they care to share? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
  9. We're getting there: http://www.droid-life.com/2014/01/27/sprint-lights-up-40-new-4g-lte-markets-total-rises-to-340/ Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
  10. Providence has not launched and there are very few accepted sites. They are most likely in the build/ testing phase of this things. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
  11. Of course it will return but it could be a few weeks or even a month or so till it's 100% Sent from my S4
  12. It's probably just the initial stage of it going live and some subsequent testing and adjustments. Sent from my S4
  13. It must still be in the testing phase and not fully accepted. Last winter I had a site across the street from me in FL that went live while I was down there. Same situation, it was fine at the condo but when I drove a 1/4 mile to Gulfstream the signal faded and speeds dropped off significantly. It's now great and the only thing I can attribute it to was the fact that it was being tested first.
  14. I don't know if there's a difference. Was your EVDO signal any different? Maybe it's not at full power yet.
  15. There still seems to be a lot of towers not yet upgraded to 3G but I do remember that they are turned on in clusters. Even if the final product is 6 months out at least we know it has started.
  16. Gosh no, that was Clearwires network not Sprints. It will be spotty until all towers are turned on but that's to be expected.
  17. It looks like it's starting. A site in Warwick and Johnston is also reported on the maps. Probably months away before anything significant but it's a start.
  18. It seems like these upgrade concepts are a lot like leasing. I'm really begining to like the concept of prepaid. I'll buy my own phone and when I'm done with it sell it. Sent using Tapatalk 2
  19. Go to the homepage and look for the donate link usually on the right hand (upper) side of page. Sent from my Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk.
  20. As little as 10.00 Sent from my Galaxy S4 using Tapatalk.
