Shentel?

What's different about Shentel that Robert doesn't get info from his Sprint sources about upgrades? Is it not part of Sprint? If now why do we care if they get LTE towers?

Shentel runs and owns the network in a small area of the country. This is branded as Sprint and you as a customer have ubiquitous access between Sprint and Shentel areas. Sprint does all their marketing/support, Shentel maintains the network. It covers parts of MD/VA/PA. They are one of the last remaining Sprint "affiliate" markets.

Robert obvoiusly gets information from somewhere within Sprint. Since Sprint doesn't own the network in Shentel areas, and Shentel is in control of the network here, he doesn't get that information. Shentel is working with Alc-Lu on the upgrade so those are the only two sources of potential information. I care about the Sprint network in this area, since that is where I reside?

Adding to that, Robert has said before that he has 0 sources within shentel and rely mainly on member observations. As shentel is an affiliate of sprint and maintains its own hardware / towers, his sprint sources have nothing on that specific region/market..
