newatthis
Currently there's 3-5 guys on the tower at 256 & Livingston. I believe work is currently going on at the tower off tussing as well. Hopefully some good things to come in the area soon...
COZisBack
So, I never did ask. I installed the app, but wanted to make sure I understood this correctly. So sensorly on it's own will not map out sprint LTE? I have the LTE discovery app now installed, but when I start, it cycles through the connections, it just seems to spend a lot of time kicking the phone into airplane mode. But I am not clear on how it should work. Maybe someone can educate me The way data works is the way home phone service worked before calls waiting. Sensorly is constantly sending/receiving data. If the 3G data call doesn't break the LTE call can never start. LTE Discovery app keeps placing your phone in Airplane mode until it sees an LTE data call. Today's post has been brought to you by Sprint, the letters GN and the number 2.

Going to the 256 area is already a frustrating experience even when I don't want to smash my phone on the ground...

digiblur
Alright, so run the LTE Discovery App and keep it running while mapping in sensorly? I run it in Cycle while not connected to LTE mode but you do have to do the in app purchase for that mode. Just make sure you don't have it in auto repeat cycle after LTE discovery. Make sure you start trip on sensorly too.

Are those the full resolution photos? Maybe whomever you are using cropped / re-sized them? Thanks again for taking a look at this.

I tried higher resoluton first but it said 1 was too big so I unfortunately reduced it. Probably a bit too much. Sorry for the blurriness. Sorry for the blurriness. Oh okay, maybe a link directly to dropbox? What provider are you trying to use? I've had the best luck with copying and pasting the image directly from my G+ auto backup. That is obviously just pictures from my phone though...
COZisBack
LTE handoffs are not happening as great as one would hope in Dallas. Getting knocked back down to 3G and getting stuck there. The antenna pics look fuzzy when zoomed in but when zoomed out appears like the dreadlocks monster mess.

Oakley707
You guys have the tower on south Brice listed as 800? Yes, it was confirmed by ejwilliamson90 on 9/2. Are you not experiencing 1X 800? It is most likely because you are using the stock PRL.

DomSim
800 In Pickerington! http://i.imgur.com/26gw0i1 I normally never connect to this tower at work either, I normally get the one on Tussing. EDIT: it seems to be unstable and jumps to another tower I don't recall ever picking up at work either, but is also 800! http://i.imgur.com/KCl6dbI.png EDIT x2: dropped both, back to my normal tower, sans 800 http://i.imgur.com/wyocXuh.png

amcferrin90
All Legacy from what I see. (Wait, why am I not on vacation). Today's post has been brought to you by Sprint, the letters GN and the number 2. I see the NV antennas, the two RRH's. It's still blurry but I can see that. Those cabinets though, looks like legacy, one is sideways. Why are you not on vacation? Because it's in your blood! You tried disconnecting but you just can't do it, like cutting off a limb. As for Pickerington 800, yes, depending on where you are you can hit both of those. Because the Longview site is on a water tower on a hill it has the better penetration than the one at Refugee/Pick. Rd. Longview would also then have a better S/N ratio being above all those trees. The south Brice cell is tricky to connect to, almost has to be intentional because again the Longview site just romps over everything else. Sitting in Skyline in Canal Winchester I would bounce between Cedar Hill and Longview and never connect to Brice.

amcferrin90
Heads up grove city. 2467 Jackson Pike is transmitting 800 finally. Thinking along the cluster turn on factor, I bet there's more.
amcferrin90
Also on the Basil western road site there be tower monkeys again. I was thinking they were taking down the legacy equipment until I saw them with the NV cabinet open. Now I'm thinking either they're tuning or maybe turning on LTE. They sometimes do 1x and EVDO separate.
