Why Jailbreak?

So here's a question that I've been thinking about for a bit.

 

What's the incentive to jailbreak an iPhone? Are there any real specific benefits other than installing any app not approved?

pda net. Big plus and 3G unrestrictor which allows facetime over 3G and some other things over 3G.

Jailbreaking allows more uses on the device like wifi tethering and even allow you to use custom Launchers like the Samsung Galaxy S II launcher

This fall Facetime will be allowed over 3G when iOS 6 comes out, so that be the end of that perk.

Ok but with the abismal 3G speeds we get, tethering isn't really all that though.

 

The custom launcher thing is interesting, will have to look at that. Just am curious, since it's a big deal with a lot of folks

haha but here i get good 3G speeds. But is good if ur on a road trip and dont wanna be on small touchscreen display
