  1. I have LTE now and I wasn't even lookin for it. If it was just this easy. But seriously it's really almost anywhere I go. I look at my phone at one place and it says 3G and the next place LTE. I must get it at least 10 times a day.

Get use to it , soon you won't be seeing 3G anymore :D

The game here is painting the city purple. Everything else means nothing. Trust me. No negativity meant towards Roberts info but even acceptance mean very little when compared to the ever powerful "purple".

    Sent from my little Note2

Yup sir you are correct the more purple the better , as of right now there is not a lot of dark purple on the Sensorly Map for NYC , I think that will change once Sprint officially finishes deploying LTE for the market .

Retoggle your phone from airplane mode. Sometimes you have full LTE and it just switches back

Yeah Airplane Mode is a life saver sometimes , I remember I couldn't connect to LTE , used Airplane Mode flipped it back on WOOP LTE , lmao, I think Smartphones remember your location when you connect to LTE bc in places i've never been were LTE is , my phone won't automatically connect I have to use Airplane mode but if its a location that i've been to before & LTE is there my phone will jump straight onto the network .

  4. Fastest download speed.

    http://db.tt/GB4BRN9w

I noticed it kind of maxes out around 26-27mbps download and 10mbps upload. In comparison when at&t first brought lte, my coworkers phone pulled 40mbps download speed but now when he gets barely above 10mbps.

Those speeds are gonna be consistent , I have a friend who lives in Atlanta & his average download is 30-35mbps down & 10-15mbps , he sent me a speedtest heres one

    Heres a 3G speedtest 2-3mbps down average , 1-2mbps up

I hope that our Market is like this after full completion .

I get it. Why not use it. I use it. Don't want to veer off topic again and I'm sure everyone has their own opinion on this and many many people discuss this to no end. Everyone will do what they feel comfortable doing and use services they pay for as they see fit. If one wants to use wifi everywhere like my gf who never uses more than 500 mbs, that's fine. If someone else wants to use 20gbs, that is fine too. As long as it's legal usage.

Agreed , When I get home I don't use Cellular Data even if its going fast , my wifi is there & my wifi is blazing , (40-45mbps down 35-40mbps up , I have Verizon Fios) I love my Wifi , the only time I go on Cellular is when im traveling , even when im at my friends house I ask them for the password to their wifi , the only exception is my fathers house because hes a wifi hog & turned it off to keep it all for himself -_- selfish bastard .

I'm in the same boat man... Slow agonizing speeds in Manhattan!!! I get LTE at home a weak signal but still LTE. I don't use it because i have wifi and when i step outside, I lose LTE. For all the places I spend my time, I don't have LTE. But i get by knowing I will have good speeds eventually within this year. You just have to be positive. If you spend a lot of your time thinking about this, you will go mad. Take a deep breath and think about how much you will love it when you get it eventually. And since you live on the border, i wouldn't be surprised if you get signal earlier then others in LI. You will be the lucky one amongst your friends. ;) Stay positive!!!!

Thumbs up for this guys Motivational Speech , lol but yeah i know ur totally right , one good thing tho , I get LTE at my Dads definitely gonna be heading over there more & more .

LI is being upgraded as we speak right now. Just because your town isn't done doesn't mean LI is not being upgraded right now. Sprint has a schedule of rolling out NV. We might not understand it all but it is being done the way they feel is best for the company and their customers. Not only that, local laws make it hard to access some sites then others. There are a lot of factors. It helps when you don't visit this site too much during the day. lol It's painful to see everyone get LTE and you are still on old 3G. Sometimes it's just best to check once a week. Besides, when home, you have wifi so you should be fine. Other times I'm sure you are in NYC so you get to experience the LTE goodness that some of us get. Remember, not all of us get it as well in NYC yet.

Incorrect mr, I don't go into NYC that often actually at most ill go to Brooklyn to see my father & try to fix our estranged relationship but other that I spend my time in L.I. & thats why my patience is starting to wear thin , I wouldn't mind if my Cell Tower was 3G upgraded but its not , its old Sprint .5 to .10mbps down & 0.0 up its that Sprint & im not rooting for that Sprint , & yeah I have Wifi but I have a cellular device & i'd like to be able to go outside & load a simple webpage . Lmao but its all good Summer soon come thats when im expecting them to start activating some L.I sites ,

I think sprints waiting on big cities or starting them later because most cities have 4g already outskirts have 3g thats painfully slow and are loosing customers fast because of it. I get .5-.8 down and .4 up on 3g. Its hard to stay with a company when verizon and att have 4glte in my town. But sprint is cheaper

They really need to get it together , if they were working on Rural cities first then they should've done Long Island first then the NYC market bc of the fact that Long Island is more rural especially further inland , its like there saving the L.I & NYC Markets for last like dont they know that a good portion of carrier users are in the big cities .

  9. Latest 3g speed test tower upgrade on my roof.

For those you who live in NYC yall are so lucky im really hating live on the borderline of Queens bc non of my towers have been upgraded . I feel like Long Island isn't gonna get the full LTE experience until the NYC market is officially unlocked I don't understand why they can't just do it all together you know , .

Here is the easy solution to your agita: do not run so many speed tests.

What are you trying to prove? You do realize that you are just wasting capacity. By running speed tests, you are just reducing capacity for others and yourself.

    AJ

Yes sir. Since day 1 :-)

And yea running a bunch of speed tests uses up a bunch of data. I only do 2-3 at a specific time and with LTE it usually sucks up about 30-40 megabytes.

Fortunately for my fellow sprint users, I'm not very data hungry. Just some web browsing and social networking here and there.

I didn't know that , & the only reason I ran so many is because my bars kept going up & down & i just wanted to see if the speeds would increase by the amount of bars I had .
