  1. You should consider upgrading to sponsorship so you can see exactly where NV upgrades are in LI, cause there is plenty..also on a side note i went to LI a couple of weeks ago..exit 49S..and had GREAT 3G speeds

I want to but , im very broke lml I don't have a job yet.

Once you get 3G upgrades, your patience will no longer run out! I still wouldn't say 3G is good for streaming, but everything else is great!

Yeahh definitely , I don't stream outside unless I have good LTE . As long as the 3G is a constant speed of 1mbps & up ill be okay .

  3. I check Sensorly the other day , A good majority of NYC is purple , Sprint just needs to fill in some blanks , add better coverage, convert more towers & improve the speeds & we should be good . Then they can start on the L.I market lol .

Depends if his mom would like to... This is the most frustrating thread to read and ironically he is complaining he would like to move to T-Mo and if you read the TMOnews boards, the exact same complaints are being leveled against T-Mo for not launching New York initially.

Right , it all depends on my moms choice & right now shes not budging unfortunately, its probably just cause she's trying to focus on other things money wise , remember my mom doesn't have her own Sprint account , were under my G'ma's account (4 Ppl Fam Plan 1500mins unlim everything) , another reason my mom won't switch is because shes been with Sprint mostly all her life shes a lil skeptical , the last time we had another carrier was a short little stint with AT&T which didn't work out bc they were over charging .

Really.....I just wish impatient people like you would just leave!

Relax it was never that serious . I've been patient since the release of the iPhone 5 , I got it a month after it came out thats how long i've been wait for LTE . I don't live in the city like you guys I live boarderline Queens in Long Island , if I was a frequent traveler to the city I wouldn't have a problem bc as soon as I get into Queens the LTE logo pops up on my phone , but no thats not the case , I live in L.I. which isn't really apart of the NYC market so I won't be getting LTE until the NYC market is complete unfortunately , thats gonna take a while a LONG while . Patience is something i've had for months but its a little annoying to be dealing with Slow Speeds all the time .

Thats amazing , im really diggin T-Mobile , & now they have my favorite phone , Imma have to convince my mom to get T-Mobile I love Sprint but this whole NV process is moving just a little bit to slow , i've been patiently waiting for LTE since I got my iPhone 5 for this damn carrier.

I left to T-Mobile and got the iPhone 5 with them. Which i can be unlocked to use in the US. I returned my iPhone 5 to sprint and they waived my cancellation fee. T-mobile will have LTE in NYC by mid June.

Sprint is awesome like that but uhh , how's T-Mobiles HSPA+ i hear its faster than our 3G & 4G

  8. Question , don't misunderstand me im not trying to be disrespectful . Whats wrong with going off topic every once in a while , just talking about LTE all the time is boring , going off topic sometimes can be a good thing .

I understand you have rules & what not but Sprint LTE is deployed but so fast , so we don't always have something to report , so why not talk about something else that is relevant like , Competitors , Phones & Software (without arguement of course).

  9. In Manhattan I get great 3G NV speeds. Amazing. I average 1.20 mbps down. Currently im in weehawken, NJ which is real close to the lincoln tunnel and my speeds are great and it's 8:01pm on a saturday and I am getting 1.50mbps down to 1.99mbps down. I think i saw in the maps that there is an upgrade 3G tower nearby. I love it. I am streaming youtube without buffering and browsing webpages at full speed. Sprint is really stepping it up.

SPRINT FTW , I can't wait till there finished with NV , im hypedd .

0.5mbps isn't bad. At least around my apartment on a normal non-game day. Pings are low and with that speed it's pretty decent. Lol

Yeah , I find that if the Pings are low then it doesn't matter if ur speed is 1.50mbps ur speeds will still seem low . I remember before my phone got snatched I was running speedtesf the pings were in ghe 500's & the up & down were like .50mbps but the speeds seem sooo slow it took forever to load .

When you lose LTE. That's when it gets really frustrating

So True cause ur going from blazing fast connection to .5mbps speeds that don't load anything . We I see LTE on my phone I get excited because its just a great feeling to know that I can actually use my phone to it's full capabilities data wise I mean .
