Did you clear cache? My S21 seems very snappy this afternoon, though I do use a different launcher.
Yep, trying to go back to stock and Smart Switch sucks ass, won't go over 5Mbps stuck at 64% I gain like 1% per 5 minutes like wtf Samsung.

Last time I was on a Samsung beta they pushed updates pretty quick. But yes the first one had issues and was much better with just one update.
Guessing it'll be a while until TNX is available by esim - T-Mobile users are getting errors trying to activate so they aren't supported either.
Yeah I don't particularly care about esim but the lag and typing there are major issues I'll be going back to stock when I get home.

Android 12 beta is out, esim is supported! But it's a bit rough and a bit laggy.

Anyone have GPS issues indoors? I swear no matter where I go I can't lock onto GPS at all inside most places. Never and issue on my S20 Ultra but this phone is just terrible with GPS.

It has been like this for me for the 18 months I have has my S20 with no change whatsoever.
I agree it seems to occur only with Samsungs. Of course, that does not necessarily mean it is a Samsung bug. Samsung might be implementing something correctly that certain vendor tower equipment is implementing incorrectly.
.
Yeah it happened with my S20 Ultra as well, but seems worse on my S21 Ultra.

I'm thinking the constant band switching issue some are seeing may be more of a Samsung issue. Ever since my AT&T S20 Ultra received the August update yesterday its been doing the same thing. Constantly switching bands and even to different towers every 2-3 seconds, occasionally even showing no signal for up to 5 seconds as well.
Definitely a samsung issue.

T-Mobile sucks with updates.

I was in a house earlier, I work with my brother in law doing handyman things, he has a one+ 5g or something along those lines. He had service all day, on my S21 Ultra I kept getting no service and then it would latch onto n71 SA 4 bars, if I wasn't using the phone no service. Something isn't right here. He has metro and I'm on a T-Mobile sim.

Ooooo, Vo5Geez
It drives me insane how WiFi-calling always reverts to "cellular preferred" and then I miss every. damn. call. when I'm at work until I switch it back over to "WiFi preferred". Apparently it's the network forcing this as it happens on many phones, not just the S21 line. Just an eternal frustration!!
Wouldn't know personally, never had a good experience with WiFi Calling.

Once thing I have noticed (even before I enabled that) is that it seems to take a while to connect to the network after restart.
Always takes a bit for the phone to connect from my experience.

There is now a VoNR option under Mobile Networks. If I try to enable it, leave the screen and come back, it's disabled.
Restart your phone after enabling it, works great this is apparently the one you 3.1.1 update without the version number change huge 1.2GB update.

So I had an even worse user experience today at my parents' townhouse style condo, where I haven't been since before I got my S21 with the T-Mobile SIM. They both have 2020 2nd Gen. iPhone SE's w/ the T-Mobile SIM, which stay parked on B71 (600). My S21 (with roaming turned off) has no service about 90% of the time, and then gets service from B71 or n71 about 10% of the time. It's crazy how the S21 5G will not stay on B71 or n71 and yet the non-5G iPhone SE's have no issue staying on B71 and that the network decides that the 5G phones need to constantly hop from band to band, even if that means going to no service. Hope they are actively fixing this on the back end.
In the meantime you can disable 5G and have it only connect to LTE it should help a lot.

Yeah these 5G phones like to jump around a lot of makes no sense, can't even lock them to SA the phone will ignore it and jump back on NSA even with them disabled.

With my new S21 Ultra I figured I would run a test on my normal travels, wow. 100MHz of n41! Just wish my tower by my house would get n41, still only n71 10MHz.

Mine gets quite hot when using wireless charging. Especially if the ambient temp is over 75, then I have problems with it getting too hot. It also gets very warm when using it outdoors while it's hot out. Not exactly surprising, but it does seem hotter than phones I've owned in the past. When charging indoors and not in direct sunlight, it doesn't get too terribly hot, but is noticeably warm.
Might give it another go, I'm on my S20 Ultra right now, it never gets warm.

No, mine has not been hot. Best phone I've owned
This feels like a hand warmer, and I'm having a lot of connectivity issues, dropped calls on 5g or lte and no data. Maybe I got a bad unit. Think I'll be going back on my S20 Ultra I'm afraid to leave it charging if I leave the room it gets so hot.

Is anyone's phone like constantly warm/ hot? This thing is always warm, really hot when charging. Not a good sign, did Samsung screw up again?

Got my Ultra, not much of a difference over my my S20 Ultra, cameras are slightly improved, WQHD+ is nice at 120Hz. That's about it, the design is a lot better though, otherwise it's more or less the same but cheaper.

I'll be joining the S21 Ultra club, didn't realize I was leasing my S20 Ultra so ironically my lease is pretty much up so I ordered the S21 Ultra 128GB in silver, wanted the 256GB but black is boring imo. Should be here friday.

And now the July update is installing. That was a weirdly short time between updates.
Still waiting in the S20 world of updates, still on June for what seems like two months now.

So anyone else have GPS issues? I've done two factory resets and still have issues getting a solid signal especially indoors, might have to contact T-Mobile about the issue, may be a faulty phone.
