I need some LTE in Santa Ana, near the Main Place Mall. Anyone have any info when that area will light up?
Hopefully soon

Speed test of the 22 and Euclid tower.
-
Yup, that means its coming!!
-
Yup, small spot of LTE in Hesperia/Victorville
-
I think they will stay on now. They been on for a couple days now so we might see an increase of accepted LTE sites.
-
it does seem that the 3g speeds almost die when you are next to 4g (see pic).
That is what I noticed this morning too. I was right infront of the tower connected to 4G and had 2 bars of signal.

Gah can't believe it's baseball season already. In other news, I dunno about everyone else but when I use sensorly online I don't see a lot of the area I feel should already be mapped out. I zoomed all the way in on the map and all the mapped areas appeared. So if you wanna see where 4g is truly, just zoom way in.
Quick update : all of the backlog of data is processed and drawn at least at some zoom levels. Except for 25% of the CDMA data which is 4.5 days late at most.
Yup, there was a backlog of mapping according to "Sensorly" User

Yeah, I was looking at sensorly.com and it takes up to a day to update in all zoom levels. I think the website is still updating cause I started mapping since Friday and didnt see any updates until this morning.

i was just over there. connection is on harbor when driving between orangewood and katella.
You're correct. But no 4G signal by the Stadium
-
I have a question does anybody know if there's going to be 4g signal at angel stadium because the signal there is not that good
I commute every day for work and I havent been able to connect to 4G by the Angels Stadium.
-
Lol looks like I'm gonna have to drive by there and test it out when I have time! Btw just wondering.. how do you know where towers are o.o
You can become a sponsor by donating, and you will have access to some cool stuff, like tower location, accepted towers etc.

LTE in Garden Grove is sooo slow. I had to turn off the LTE because the 3G was faster.
Really? I did a speed test yesterday and results were 11 down, 4 up. Not slow for me.
Also, there is only 2 sites broadcasting LTE, and LTE signal is more sensible than 3G so that might be the reason.
-
Looks like LTE towers are still on, the one in Brea is working, and the ones in Garden Groove too. Did so mapping again but dont see any updates on Sensorly.
-
Well theres always this to make it rescan faster and more often
NOTE: This is for the original Epic 4G only, there are other guides for other phones (I adapted one for the NS4G).
I did this when I had my Nexus S 4G and it did help alot. At the office I was getting disconnected, updated to -110 and bam no more disconnects!

I'm happy with those as well if they get it out everywhere.
My co-worker hit 24 mbps with Verizon in the same location
Let's remember that coverage and speeds will improve once more towers start going online.
-
5.99 mbps down. Not quite as fast as I'd hoped.
I am happy with those speeds.
-
sweet!!! wonder if that feel signal is still coming from the 22/euclid tower...i keep forgetting to see how far it goes since i have my phone connected to the appradio 2 and just set sensorly to mapping when i leave the house.
Yes both towers are broadcasting LTE. I drove around 5 am and like around 3pm today and I was getting great signal.
-
I heard sometimes a few days but normally an hour!
Oh ok, Thanks for lettting me know.
tried mapping as much as i could this weekend. nothings showing up on sensorly. maybe we over worked them eh got one dot in where i live lol.
Oh ok, good to know, I mapped Friday and didnt show up either. So probably theres a backlog on the server or something.
I will continue mapping after I leave work.
-
I think all towers are broadcasting LTE as of now. I got LTE off the 22 west bound off Euclid all the way to Mile Square Park. I did some mapping but I dont know if it was uploaded to sensorly. Anyone knows how quick it gets uploaded to the server

Lets hope they keep them on from now on.

The sensorly app isn't on the iPhone.
There is kind of some restriction coming from Apple that it wont let acess certain readings. Something with the API I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.
-
Everybody map! EVERYBODY MAP!!!! Aaaaahhhhh mmmaaaapppp!!!
I would but I have an iphone...
Time to swap and get android haha jk.
I mapped last night but still dont see any of my mapping on sensorly...
-
I think all towers are now on. We are getting some LTE love
-
i'll map when I get out of work
