  1. Seems like you were right http://www.androidcentral.com/sprint-fires-another-45-lte-markets
  2. Service has improved in the Disneyland area. I was there on Saturday. The park was real busy, LTE and 3G speeds were usable. Last year, the Disney area was useless, calls not going thru, texts failing to send no 3G service. I'm enjoying NV.
  3. Speeds are good, and usable, no complains. I think LTE is helping a bit by alleviating the 3G traffic.
  4. The donate button is on the top right of this page http://s4gru.com/index.php?/index Heres the direct link for donation. https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_flow&SESSION=bzKR64dzangLa-T5VXHjbAcnYjsuLAhdfbVWdXVUV2NHOfc5fMfirZbYiZm&dispatch=5885d80a13c0db1f8e263663d3faee8def8934b92a630e40b7fef61ab7e9fe63
  5. Legacy equipment is the old cabinets and panels on the tower that currently provide Sprint service. NV brings new equipment and new panels to the tower. Of course there are some exceptions. All towers will receive NV at some point.
  6. NV is turned on in 3G in clusters, so it might be that the 3G that you're getting on your phone is being transmitted by legacy equipment.
  7. Recommend becoming a sponsor, it will provide more info in regards sites, location of towers and acceptance.
  8. They might be LTE accepted but still waiting for fiber and/or backhaul. Theres more than 2 accepted site in your area.
  9. 7 connected to my Airport express 2 iphones 1 Galaxy Nexus 1 Nexus 7 2013 2 Mac books 1 Chromecast
  10. Considered LA Market I was off citrus in West Covina last night and had LTE service, inside the restaurant rolled back to 3G
  11. The site might be NV complete, but maybe waiting for fiber connections. Might take months to go online or might take days. Maybe you were getting LTE from a near site? or probably someone mapped during testing.
  12. Would love to see the Wimax tower behind my office building converted to NV. Services is limited and sometimes unusable inside the building. The closest tower is a mile away.
  13. Before Network Vision https://www.dropbox....6u47/gE8Axt2r_9 After Network Vision https://www.dropbox.com/sh/987fap9pfpl1bap/pXninyybsI
  14. Nextel site. Before it has 4 panels on each side. I believe it still some legacy 3g panels. Im unsure. Updated tower in Chino, cant find the before pics. Sorry guys https://www.dropbox.com/sh/avamixuw9wl6u47/gE8Axt2r_9 Looks like 800 is connected? correct me if I'm wrong
  15. I heard in the forums and articles that it should be around 3-5 mbps. Lets remember that the LTE network is still in progress so speeds might vary. Also, you cant compare to HSPA from T-mobile speeds due to a different technologies.
  16. Tmobile is expanding faster because they already have fiber or backhaul in their towers, they just upgrade the panels and they have LTE. Sprint has to run fiber to their towers and/or provide backhaul. This is one of the reason its taking a bit more time.
  17. That is strange cause 4G Wimax is real strong in Garden Grove and Santa Ana areas when I had my Nexus S4G. LTE is good off Euclid and Garden grove. As many of the towers are broadcasting LTE
  18. I been thinking about it since I have the same problem identifying sites, probably the solution is using excel and some formulas with vlookup to separate data. you would need the master database, already updated sites data and the daily updates to merge into one report sheet and have it ready to upload. Time consuming but manageable.
  19. Sprint turns on 3G updated sites in clusters meaning that a bunch of towers are turned on at the same time to avoid having interference with other legacy sites. When a 3G site has been marked as accepted it means that the equipment has passed inspection but not necessarily turned on to broadcast 3G. Hope it helps
  20. Disney got iphones and motorola 2 way radios a few days before the iDen shut off. Any updates ?
  21. Visited Disneyland last night, and I must say 4G coverage is increasing inside the park. Before I was only able to connect to LTE in California Adventure. On thing to note is that Disneyland is no longer using Iden Nextel radios inside the park, now they are using Motorola radios. Only saw Nextel radios being used at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney.
  22. I don't think that after NV 3G speeds will be the fastest, but the upgrades will provide better signal and reliable connectivity to every user.
