Sorry dudes, much less likely T-Mobile will keep band 26 800MHz.
All things considered, I think this is a win-win in most locations. B26 would require equipment upgrades to deploy and in most locations, TMO already has enough low-band between B71 and B12 to maintain "adequate" service. In any non-super rural area, thanks to the roll out of SA, low-band is much less of an issue and they will have sufficient mid-band capacity to enable good-to-great service.

Just noticed also that B2 has shrunk from 20MHz down to 15MHz (and as a result moved down to EARFCNs 18975/975 . I am guessing that n25 will be expanding to the full 20MHz shortly.
That's fast, n25 is now 20MHz

Oh—this is the new CC site. I’m surprised they’re moving so fast!
They are moving quite fast, all three equipment boxes were already installed and the trunk of the "tree" was fully installed as well.
By the way, I noticed Dish was installing today on the tower over by Cedar Park Elementary school in Bothell. The same one that T-Mobile already converted from Sprint but has still not activated yet (not the one closer to I-405 which has Verizon/AT&T)

Just got this via Text
Sprint is now T-Mobile: Starting 4/1/23, Amazon Prime will no longer be included with your plan for the line(s) listed below. Don't worry, more T-Mobile rate plan benefits are coming soon! For more information on how this affects your account, visit http://s.t-mo.co/6Hq6Tn2
Applies to line(s) ending:
XXXX
Just got an SMS stating they are adding Netflix On Us.

Permit filed to decomm the Sprint site at 304 Boerum St. So I guess we can take that off the "keep" list.
That's been happening in force around me recently, as well. A few sites are unfortunate because they provide some needed in-fill but oh well.

I've noticed that T-Mobile has changed their n2 and B25 LTE carriers in the past few days. Instead of just shrinking one and expanding the other they flipped them, the 15x15 that was B2 LTE is now n25, and the 10x10 n25 is now B2 LTE. Not sure why they did it that way since they have 30x30 to play with. They must be keeping some reserved for 3G still within Louisville and didn't want to shift that. I noticed once I get south of Jefferson county it shifts to 20x20 n25 and 10x10 B2 still flipped from previous configuration but with n25 expanded.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the roll out of VoNR which has just started.

4 new VoNR cities: Cincinnati, New Orleans. New York, Seattle.
No mention of official VoNR devices. Previously the s21 was listed iirc
Someone over on Reddit mentioned it was working in Atlanta as well. Would be interesting to see where else it is already live.

VoNR looks to be live in the metro Seattle area and multiple other cities across the US.

Interesting, it appears to be working on my S22U. I just band locked my phone to NR and was able to make a call. Previously, the call would immediately fail. TNot sure how else to test it, there is no switch that I can see or entry otherwise to view VoNR.
Edit:
Yep it works!

The tower is located here:

Sorry, wasn't able to snap any pics. Every time I stopped at that light (I tried thrice), a big box truck pulled up next to me obscuring the view.Found the permit for it! Looks like it will be Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T at minimum on the tower. The bottom rack is described as "future antennas by others", which makes me think Dish will be on there as well.

Massive new tower at the 520/202 interchange in Redmond. Looked like Nokia equipment on the ground but I couldn't see all the RRUs.

which IMEI did you guys use to activate the device / get ESIM? When i used IMEI1 on the box, the website took it but nothing happened with the device. When i then tried IMEI2, everything went through. when i type in *#0011# on the dialer, SIM2 INFORMATION is available, SIM state is not Ready is shown for 1, is this the case for you guys as well?
If it's like the S22, eSIM can ONLY be used in SIM2.

Does anyone know why T-Mobile only ever uses 3x Nokia AEHCs on a site (even for sites with more than 3 sectors)? I haven't found a single site that has four or more AEHC on it. They sometimes include sector IDs (like 304) which indicate higher but if you look, they just skipped one of the sector IDs. Additionally, they don't seem to have this limitation in Ericsson markets, which makes me think it is something about the Nokia equipment.

Updated to 16.4 beta which brings expanded NR support and SA CA to iPhone. Does anyone know the conditions / requirements that must be met in order for the handset to be connected to NR over NSA? seems at random and I can’t seem to trigger or influence it manually.
I would say just give it time. Initially on Android, it was really really random if you didn't have a phone that could band lock. Overtime, as TMO debugged things, the phones started preferring SA.

Wondet how T-Mobile will support newer features
This one actually helps T-Mobile a lot because it should allow them to aggregate their disparate mmWave bands.

Odd. I still have normal service in midtown/downtown Omaha.
Apparently the outage is device specific. Even on the same account, one device will work and another won't.

T-Mobile totally down in my area. Checking out IsItDown, seems like might be nationwide.
Edit: Yep it's a nationwide outage.

Hey @mikejeepgot my s23 ultra today and SCP will not launch at all. Try to launch twice second time says something went wrong with signalcheck pro, signalcheck pro closed because this app has a bug. Try updating this app after its developer provides a fix for this error.
idaes?
Try manually giving it precise location permission. I had a similar symptoms when I got my S22U and accidentally clicked deny for location permission

There's a lot of colors here, but the teal and purple sites are expansion. Currently we have 50 tracked, with at least 17 more permitted. Based on the latest coverage map update, I believe I need to add a few more expansion sites.
We've also had 121 Sprint conversions, with over a dozen still permitted, though we're not sure if those will come to fruition.
Damn, that is super impressive!

As someone mentioned, they wouldn't be surprised if Dish uses the band as collateral for the loan (which makes sense for a bunch of reasons). Dish has a desperate need for low-band frequencies if they are going to compete AT ALL.
