Sorry, I'm not getting... In Putty, are you using SSH (Port 22) or Serial connection? On my windows PC, the LM960 will be connected as a USB device. Do I need to install drivers for the Telit modem? If yes where are the drivers located for download?
Serial. I will share the files when I get home.

Wonder what is gonna happen to the EBS reseller agreement.
-
Can you ssh into the modem? picocom /dev/ttyUSBx, x placeholding whatever port, should allow it to talk.
The command for all bands on ATT is at#bnd=0,2,20003000281A
You would want an mPCIe>USB adapter, preferably with a sim slot. If you need one I have a bunch. I could send you one.
-
The command would be at#bnd=0,2,A

Good question. I believe there is a command line interface, but I have no idea how peplink works.

If no CLI yes.

Any comments on my testing? Please advise.
Post your VZW speed tests. Looks like your area is only band 2/4/12 for ATT. I usually just turn off band 12 via an at command if I get an adequate signal from other channels. If the poynting does not give you the speed you like send it back. I would only use it if you absolutely need band 12.

Good, mine just autorenewed a few days ago. But I guess that's another sign to move to the postpaid plan. Plus save $15/month.

The prepaid 35/mo prepaid iPad plan was murdered today. Suspect is a big blue deathstar. Hope you guys got on the post paid plan.

I can't wait to get kicked off of Dish Mobile ® for using my UDP in some Chinese 5G modem.

Got the antennas on a PVC pole to test temporarily. Waiting for the LMR400 cable from Amazon.
It looks like I can't post anymore photos. Reached my limit.
Use imgur.com to upload fotos, then share them here via direct link and the picture will autopopulate in your comment.

what sim card/plan is best?
Got to an ATT store, ask for the stand alone 20/mo Ipad plan, I just used the IMEI number of the ipad in the store. You will leave with an activated sim card. This is a post paid plan that requires a credit check. If you don't want to go that route you can sign up for the prepaid plan, but it is 35/mo and is done on line, over the phone or in a chat.

Good luck, tell me if you find this plan. The options above have a deprioritization after 22Gb. This means you will be put in the back of the line but have throughput still. Your ping just goes up. This is only if your tower is busy or congested.
Get a Nighthawk. You want the band 14 capable version. Put the SIM card in it and go. Run this up in the air, do not use external antennae, this ruins the 4x2 MiMo capability. Power it however you like, via a PoE>DC splitter or plug it into the wall. Run it w/o the battery. Do not use over a Tb of data or you will have a bad time. -
Lol I'm on Android 8 and I have all this info. I'm not upgrading until 2023 this is amazing.

Will do.. Thanks...
Sure thing. Also, in your example the SMA end is male, so make sure the SMA ends that connect to your MHF4 are female.

Now I need to purchase some LMR400 cable from Amazon. I believe you recommended the MPD Digital cable.
Capital idea for a next step and choice of product. You always want as few adapters as possible, so going Antenna>Nmale end LMR400 coax SMA end>SMA end 1.13mm coax MHF4 end>LM960 is ideal.
Lots of folks get the N Male on both ends and add an N Male to SMA adapter between the LMR and the 1.13mm, avoid this by going with the choice you selected. Just make sure to measure thrice and cut once when determining cable length and placement. -

No.. I don't have a Facebook account. Why? My wife has an account.
Yeah no worries we are all boomers over there, it is a handy outlet for any questions you may have and a good way to contact Mr Jim directly, he operates LTEfix.

They have a resale page as well. I build stuff and then sell it there, you can too. Others sell surplus.

Not at the moment. I will probably sell the EM7511 and EM7565 modem. Can't return to LTEFIX.
Are you on the facebook group for LTEfix?

Absolutely, anything for team UDP. Do you have any other questions about this radio or any of your other ones?

Will do.. I will get the WiFix antenna on Saturday...
So once again, there is no need to purchase another Poynting antenna?
Save your money. The ports labeled 1 are just unable to utilize those frequencies. In that pic from the hardware manual you will notice Primary and Secondary 1 only have certain bands, they exclude the lower frequencies. Notice P and S 0 add bands like 14 and 71. These are low band frequencies. These 0 labeled ports would be the ports you would hook up your Poynting to, the ports labeled 1 you would hook up your WiFix antenna too. Let me know if this makes sense, I am glad to explain anything I can.
-
I would run Your Poynting on Primary 0 and Secondary 0 and the WiFix antenna on Primary 1 and Secondary 1.

The third and fourth ports have a frequency floor of 1.7GHz anyway. They can't stuff big enough antennae in this form factor yet. You are better off not using a low band capable antenna as your auxilliary. They just do not receive or transmit those bands. 12/13/14/26/71 only work on your first two ports.

Yes
