Wouldn't be surprised if this is about 5G home modem/routers

How could this even be a possibility?:

I can't imagine there wasn't a merger condition prohibiting this very thing from happening. Perhaps it wasn't enough of a deterrent if this is even being floated or discussed out there.

Who knew the merger would be a jobs program for the PRC home modem industry?

  3. I have this service. I signed up at an address where I already have a voice line in a modified cellular router. I had the user send it to my unapproved address once they received it.

It works fine for an always QCI9 line. Others may find it easier to just add a voice line to their current plan, and put that sim in a cellular router after modifying the IMEI to appear as a phone.

If you can turn some screws and flash a router you are saving like 30 or 40 bucks a month and your line has priority. The only way to add external antennae to their Askey router is with some creative soldering.

I came across my first Sprint/T-Mobile combined site today. You can take a look here here:

You can see the T-Mobile quadband 8-port Commscope panel (for 600/700/1900/2100), the T-Mobile massive MIMO Nokia panel (for 2500), the Sprint dualband 8-port RFS panel (for 800/1900) and the Sprint Commscope 8T8R (for 2500).

So what is live on each for 2.5?

Probably. I see WCS here on 2x ports on that same antenna. I have no idea why. We have 15MHz carriers here, one in PCS and one in AWS1 that do 4x according to my radio. the 10MHz carrier in AWS 3 is 2x and WCS is 2x on father sites that have it.

We have 15MHz here in 700MHz A/B/C blocks and the PS block at 10MHz, T-Mo/VZW has L850. I think they run WCS on the antennae that they port low band out of.

    • B12/B14 and B5 at 4x4 through the lowband ports via a 700/850 diplexer
    • B2 and B66 at 4x4 through one of the mid/highband arrays via a PCS/AWS diplexer
    • B30 at 4x4 though the other mid/highband array

It seems like it would make sense to run the widest channel on it's own without a diplexer and that probably is not WCS.

Especially in areas that require a filter for satellite so they are not at 5MHz.

@belusnecropolis Thank you! From what I'm seeing it doesn't look as difficult as I thought. I was considering following the advice of someone who mentioned they go a modem and an enclosure for it... Is there a modem that allows you to play with your IMEI and can be put into a router perhaps? Would you be willing to share about antennas and general construction? Thank you again.

Message me a good number and time to reach out to you this weekend.

    Hello belusnecropolis,

I messaged you on the ROOter forum a week ago I guess you have busy and missed it. So I signed up here to ask if you could help me get the firmwares for LM960 & LM960A18. Could you get this "Telit LM960 Multi Image Firmware Updater V.32.00.0x1 (Generic and AT&T) for Windows host systems" for the old LM960 and the new firmware for new version LM960A18? I have both and the LM960 is missing the generic carrier profile (only has AT&T and Verizon) and LM960A18 only has AT&T config. I had tried to get the sales rep from semiconductor to provide the latest firmware for LM960A18 but he has ghosted me simply because he didn't know where to get them and kept providing me publicly available files and not the files restricted to vendors only. You seem to have all the latest firmwares already. Could you post somewhere for me or others to update? Thanks in advance.

P.S. I have Sprint so my sim isn't working in LM960A18 and only 2CA (B41) on LM960 when I know my tower supports 3CA and confirmed with phone.

Busy indeed. You made the effort so have one LM960 stuffs :)
