  1. The 213 tower that you are referring to is on the Southwest side of the market in Grove City. I would think there is no way this could be the same tower. How do the IDs work between towers again?
  2. I appreciate the clarification. I wasn't trying to pry for more information, just trying to understand how much coverage to expect. Really appreciate all that you do! Thanks again!
  3. Wow, tri-band phones can't come soon enough. I must admit the Columbus market LTE rollout has been slow. It's almost more painful knowing that the towers are going up and being worked on / in progress. To up and find out the entire market is up and running is quite frankly better than Christmas! I'm looking at FreedomPop to purchase a hotspot and can't seem to find out how to change the device. When I put in my address, I believe it thinks I'm only eligible for 3g and therefore it comes with an Overdrive...
  4. Right now!?!? You aren't joshing me are you? I leave for Fl on Saturday, but may have to get a triband hotspot the first day I get back. I can't wait!
  5. Any more details that you can unveil in the Columbus Sponsor thread? I thought I had heard that Band 41 was going to be live sooner than later. Great news!
  6. Cell ID 390 is Morse rd tower. Which makes sense. The range on that thing has been very good.
  7. Credit to digiblur. iPhone5 (can not confirm exact steps) Open the dialer and dial *3001#12345#* Select LTE and/or Serving Cell Info Physical Cell ID and Cell Identity are both values pertaining to the site ID. Post both.
  8. I'd expect it is from that tower, especially with low bars / not very good service. However, there are quite a few other sites in Westerville that we don't have a lot of information on so you never know...
  9. Where exactly is that? I'm not too familiar with North Westerville. Far enough for the 36/37 near I-71 site?
  10. The 1xRTT signal would say 1x800 if you were connected to a site that was upgraded with NV and broadcasting 800. The app doesn't confirm you are connecting to NV equipment, it just tells you the address of the site you are connected to on 1x. Does this make sense? Picture to help:
  11. Yes, it was confirmed by ejwilliamson90 on 9/2. Are you not experiencing 1X 800? It is most likely because you are using the stock PRL.
  12. This is the key! I'd love to purchase this phone off contract for a reasonable rate. I've always been jealous of the Nexus devices for that reason.
  13. Oh okay, maybe a link directly to dropbox? What provider are you trying to use? I've had the best luck with copying and pasting the image directly from my G+ auto backup. That is obviously just pictures from my phone though...
  14. By no means an expert, but those look like NV cabinets. Being that far away and a little blurry, I can't confirm for sure. Looks like NV antennas as well. Are those the full resolution photos? Maybe whomever you are using cropped / re-sized them? Thanks again for taking a look at this.
  15. No, it wasn't you. It was a member of this site in the Lounge. I just can't remember his username. I hadn't talked to him before.
  16. Hell, we had a Clearwire hotspot for the office because our corporate internet sucks and blocks everything...
  17. I'm liking that you are going on vacation and are going to keep the acceptance reports coming. Certainly not liking the fact we have 0 accepts for today, . I can't remember who I was talking to the other day on here in the Lounge, but he mentioned that Columbus being so heavily Clearwire invested would be an early round market for 2.5... I wish I was able to confirm that.
  18. No word yet on Tri-band. Seems odd that Sprint didn't proclaim it when they announced the phone (per Robert, in a different thread).
  19. If you join the site as sponsor's I could tell you the exact location. Without that, I can tell you it is west of Butler near the intersection of Stoffer Rd and Wagner Rd. I mean that it is not mapped, however, I believe someone visited the site earlier and mentioned that it was not broadcasting 4G even though it was accepted by Sprint. Hopefully it is turned on by now. Let us know what you find out.
  20. You are probably right, the tower north of Fredericktown has been 4G accepted since 8/2013 and still not a lick of 4G from the tower. If you are out that way, I'd bet most of the sites in and around Zanesville are low hanging fruit. It doesn't seem like there are too many people that check that area. From what we've heard, it is going to start from the outside moving in. You may be surprised with the progress on some of the towers already. I was at an event on Saturday in Zanesville and had surprisingly usable Sprint service.
  21. How were the speeds? That tower probably only has a max of like three people on it at once. I would imagine the data would just FLY! Thanks for taking a look. You didn't by chance take a look at the other 4G tower just south of there, did you? We still do not have confirmation that it in fact is LTE enabled yet.
  22. Damn, I just got really excited. Almost to the point to make an appt. at the office this week. Otherwise, I avoid that place like the plague, .
  23. Excellent point, SVLTE is good enough for me. However, I'm currently in a market that does not have LTE (currently 8 towers live out of 400). Therefore, I have six months to a year before I can truly trust that SVLTE will hold me over. Therefore, I've been waiting for a new Tri-band device so I can harness the beauty of TD-LTE 2600. The market I'm in has very good WiMax coverage and from the hearsay around the market it may not be too long before it is converted to TD-LTE 2600. Fast forward to my decision of which device to purchase. Do I purchase a Tri-band phone which doesn't have SVLTE or SVDO or do I purchase a current phone that has SVLTE (which won't be available for 6 months to a year) and no access to TD-LTE 2600 which may be ready in the same time frame. As gnoj mentioned, either choice is two steps forward and one step backward. I'm not trying to complain, just trying to make sure my next device purchase is well thought out. I appreciate everyone's opinion and help.
