Very frustrating when you really need data but you are connected to very weak 4g and get no coverage at all. Cant complain since there is always a smile when I see 4g sign but sometimes it is annoying.

i see very good correlation between the sensorly map and the "2network speed upgrade" on sprint website as what has been stated from one of the user on this forum.

has anyone noticed significant improvements in 1X and 3G signal strength after NV or LTE upgrades nearby? I have bad reception in my apartment and relying on airave which goes out every now and then due to GPS outage on the machine.

i am very surprised that only two towers are up in queens and it covers approximately 5 mile radius from the tower according to sensorly. although the 1 bar zone is very weak signal, which is close to no reception, but still i am shocked i am being connected to 4g 5 miles away.

I go to the gym near astoria and I decided to take the route near this point but no sign of lte. I will keep an eye on it though.

I am so sick of slow 3g in queens. I think it has gotten slow somewhere with 600ms ping.

Highest 3g speed I had was barely above 2mbps at like 5am

did you guys find out how many towers are up in queens? I live in by the Roosevelt Ave 149th street Flushing and definitely the signals are coming from south of flushing. I get very weak 4g signal and its too slow to run speedtest inside my apartment now. if i run the speedtest up on the roof, i get 15mbps download and 5mbps up.

Yes. indoor signal is unstable but up on the roof, very very good speed.

Unstable 1x signal and 4g signal. Awesome speed outside and top of the buildings.

Picked up 4g at sanford and 149th street. Download speed was about 2.5mbps and weak signal. Mapped on sensorly
