I prefer not to root. On occasion I have a spreadsheet that I create on my laptop that needs to be mailed. Let's say there is no available wifi but I have a 3g connection. I was Briefly looking at the Kies app. Can I use that to transfer a spreadsheet file to my phone and attach it to email?

I just updated my tapatalk program and every time I go to s4gru it crashes. I checked my other accounts and no problems. Any one else having the problem? Thanks

Typically I leave my home get out of airrave range and hit a dead spot. It's in the 21774 zip code. But on my usual rt 26 a northern parallel rt to I-70. I go over Liberty resivor but it was lit up with a great roaming signal. After 25005 Here is a different tower on the way to Owings Mills md

I turned on the LTE and did a open signal test and got 1700+ kbs. Rt 26 about 10 miles west of rt 32. I'm not sure what this is but it looks pretty good.

A couple of questions : Are the LTE installation guys the same as the network maintainence guys? Robert have you heard anything on the Baltimore / Washington market since May? Is there a new Goal date? The newest S3 prl 25005 has opened up some new roaming areas

I did read that you need to empty all information from your wallet before rooting. Due to security concerns wallet bypasses the security function in the oem root. Thus it sees it as a breach of security and disables it.

Okay so I want to put a pdf shortcut on my home screen. I have astro file manager, file manager, and stock. I press and hold the area on the home screen - add to home screen app - file manager - open file long press - at this point I should get a selection to create the shortcut. Wow! I was on a usual loop for me this morning. Frederick md - Washington Dc - Leesburg VA. The service in the area has taken a huge hit. Unusual roaming. Speed tests very poor. High (over 1000) pings, error messages connecting to my work server. More roaming than I have seen in years. Slow speeds around the beltway. I'm not encouraged that Sprint will be able to rebound quickly from this storm. Not mention the field guys have to endure just down right hot work conditions.

No doubt this will reallocate resources. We were the northern most part of the storm and didn't get the 80 mph winds but 45-60 mph gusts were pretty much the norm at our house. I even got a national emergency alert on my phone. Granted it was for flash flooding but that was a first. I suspect you can add on 3 more weeks to the Balt/Wash LTE NV rollout. Ugggh. On xda-s3-all us carriers-s3 general-your(carrier) speed test. Robert send that back up to your sprint channels. Granted it is best case scenario but it does quantify that Sprints network leaves a bit to be desired.

Fyi sprint community Forum said the 32 gig s3 pre orders should get tracking number tonight or tomorrow.

At the Sprint store you can pre order the S3 if your date is 7/1/2012. Its a $50 deposit. I'm year 13+ with sprint and utilizing my last Premier yearly upgrade. I tried to use the two week early up grade. That's gone. So this hopefully just reserves a s3 for me on the 1st. The store is supposed to hold it for 14 days then they can sell it. The manager was expecting the 32gb blue to "get in the distribution chain Tuesday or Wednesday. When they have one in hand, I was told I would get a call. But I suspect those are only 16GB phones. Who knows. I will just download the instruction manual and read it a couple of times. I think this gets me a pass to the head of the line When they come out and I don't have to chase one down.

Samsung frown? Who anticipates an order for 10,000,000 units of anything ? Their ability to recover will be the key. Think about it. How many phones could a company possibly make in a week? I caved, I could not take the peer pressure. I circled into my local Sprint store. Bam, I walked out of there with a pre order receipt for a 32gb PB. My update is 7/1 so i figured it might make sense to earmark one so I don't have to chase one down. If they come in by then it will be sitting in the back with my name on it.
