I saw the behavior nice while traveling. Nothing would make it find a signal other than a reset. I sort of chalked it up to having tri-band enabled, but maybe not.

I am in the how about finishing all phases of NV in your markets first camp. Only then consider a merger with the TMo. Jeez, whoever said Sprint has ADD is on to something. If I had tri-band operational on my N5 I would feel differently.

Well it is tricky to connect to 800 mhz voice unless you have a 800 prioritized prl installed. Otherwise you probably won't connect to 800 voice unless you are on the fringe of the signal area from that site. Were you somehow able to get the Droid DNA on Sprint? Your device on your profile says DNA and I didn't think that was a Sprint device.

You say that you are driving and walking in areas with mapped LTE. Are you toggling airplane mode when you are hunting LTE? Toggling airplane mode is the best way to pick up a LTE signal when your phone doesn't pick it up under normal operation. It can take your phone quite a while to scan for LTE but if you toggle airplane mode it scans for LTE when the radio turns back on. If you are already using the airplane mode trick then something else is wrong.

Meh, I singed up for it a few days ago and was waiting on a code. Then I saw this one last night and used it. The themer app was underwhelming and I uninstalled it after playing with it for about 10 min. I'm sure it will get better as they go but the hype is a little overdone for what you get. It is just launcher, and one that has a lot fewer features that what has been out there for a while. Just my opinion and I'm sure others may love it.

Oh interesting, thanks for the links. The Note 3 active is going to be a flexible display and limited availability apparently. Now too bad the FCC is shut down and it sounds like the FCC document guru's on here won't be able to get any info on this right now. Or have you guys already seen this device documents? Not sure how Samsung would/could release this fairly soon without the FCC operating normally. The phone sounds great so far...if it is tri-band. *crosses fingers but doubts it seriously for some reason

Kinda terrible what HTC is doing. Doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy about purchasing my next phone from them (at this point it isn't happening). They shouldn't relegate their last years flagship to nothing if they want repeat customers. They need to better understand and utilize the 2 year phone contract structure. Just because they don't update the EVO LTE doesn't mean I can or will go buy a ONE from them now.
