  1. It only requires a carrier bundle upgrade to enable it. It's baked into the operating system already and just needs to be turned on. I just put a T-Mobile sim into my phone to test my unlock, and voila, I had the wifi calling option enabled along with VoLTE enabled as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I was upgrade eligible online around Monday, but some internal thing they have is different than that, apparently. Either way, it's done, and I can stop thinking about it. I came home from work pumping a fist and proclaiming to my wife that I had finally won my week long tech support battle. She just shook her head. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. As of right now, my phone is fully unlocked, just as the Sprint supervisor had promised 2 days ago. He even called me 10 minutes ago to let me know that he finished the request. I didn't even have to restore. A profile update pushed the unlock to my phone. I tossed in an old tmo sim that I had lying around, and it works. This is monumental for Sprint. I never thought I'd see the day where my phone had the shackles taken off. Just as a side note, if any of you are held up because of an installment agreement like I was, he told me that Sprint has an "upgrade clock" that takes some time to clear, and give them the ok to unlock you. Mine was slated to clear in early March, but he was able to manually tell the system that I was paid off and good to go. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  4. Um, wow. I've used spotlight search a hundred times a day since whenever it was introduced, and I've never seen that. Maybe some kind of software corruption? I doubt it's hardware related unless you see it while doing other things. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  5. Well, we could take some sort of vote. After all, this isn't an app for only me. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  6. I almost think there's repetitive information on this app. I think you could combine a few lines to have less clutter. Like this: LTE: Band 26 RSRP: -100 dbm Type (or Connection): FDD 5x5 MHz UARFCN: 8763 It basically could eliminate the "BW:" line. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone 6+
  7. People are thinking it, but I'll ask it: did you see band 26 on the CellularInfo screen while your wife was in labor? Hospitals are notorious cellular dead zones. congrats on the baby. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  8. Has an issue of Clear 41 missing a "0" been addressed here? If not, here's a screenshot. Sprint 25/26/41 is showing the full GCI Sent from my iPhone 6+
  9. Is that a typo? Sent from my iPhone 6+
  10. They should definitely have that rolling out sooner than that. Multiple spark carriers this year has been on the books for some time now. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  11. In the Rockford market (Samsung 8t8r FIT), I'm sure most are broadcasting 2. I haven't been up there in about 8 months, but I'm sure we have a member or two that could confirm. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  12. Well, I actually got through to a top supervisor in tech support. I'm currently working with him and have his personal phone number and email. He told me since I paid off my last device on Saturday, that their system wouldn't reflect eligibility of my 6+ until this Friday. He said he submitted the request, but the system was always rejecting it because of this (and no other rep told me). He said it should be finalized Friday, and if not, to call him personally. We shall see. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  13. Just out of curiosity, how hard was it for you to make this app iPhone 6/6+ compatible? I'm just wondering why, after 5 months, many billion dollar corporations have not even attempted to update their apps for the new screen size. It's getting annoying. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  14. "Since our previous testing in August, Sprint launched its Spark[emoji769] network in the Rockford area. Subsequently, Sprint’s median download speed increased from 9.9 Mbps to 16.8 Mbps, and Sprint’s median upload speed increased from 5.1 Mbps to 7.8 Mbps. Notably, 16.8 Mbps is the fastest median download speed Sprint has recorded in any market we've tested to date." Looks like that second band 41 carrier was helping ease congestion big time. I can't wait until that hits Chicago. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  15. I posted about this like a month or two ago, almost verbatim. Are you jail broken? If so, I was using a good app called "NoAppStore" or "NoRedirect" or something along those lines (I can't remember). It worked well. I, too, was tired of being asked to download "Clash of Clans." 16. Sprint climbs to 3-way-tie for first place in Rockford market in 1H2015 RootMetrics. http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/sprint-jointly-awarded-1-ranking-for-overall-network-performance-in-rockford-illinois.htm?previousArticle=0&nextArticle=11754&gotoArt=%2Fnews-releases%2Fsprint-jointly-awarded-1-ranking-for-overall-network-performance-in-rockford-illinois.htm Sent from my iPhone 6+
  17. But, will I finally get my middle finger emoji. That's all I really care about. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  18. I've heard every excuse in the book since Friday. It's so disheartening. I've gone nearly two years without ever having to speak to customer service/technical support, and now I fully understand the complaints I read every day on social media. It's really a shame. Just tell me "no, not yet" instead of the constant mixture of "yeah, sure" and "maybe tomorrow." Sent from my iPhone 6+
  19. It looks like the new emojis were included in 8.3B2. Looks like most emojis will have a "touch and hold" option to change skin tone. http://thenextweb.com/apple/2015/02/23/these-are-apples-new-diverse-emoji/ Sent from my iPhone 6+

  22. His nexus 5 with the $40 tmo sim from Walmart (including $30 to start service) is way cheaper than the $650 or whatever hold they put on your card for a week. Unless he doesn't mind a credit hold. It's 5gb of data which is perfect for a monthly test. That, and, speed tests don't count towards data, so hammer away. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  23. I, personally, don't mind Apple's closed guidelines on App development. It allows them to keep the malicious crap off of its users phones, unlike that other App Store where people are getting malware left and right. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  24. I just spoke with my 7th representative. She told me no other unlock requests have gone through. She claims hers did, and I needed to pull a carrier update via ##update# to pull down the unlock. She assured me it worked. Our call got disconnected almost like the push happened automatically and cut us off. Unfortunately, I'm at work with no sim to test it out. I'll edit back early tomorrow morning.
