  1. When you insert another provider's SIM card, you'll see the apple logo, then the lock screen with "activation required." You'll only see this the first time. Once it's actually unlocked, you'll be prompted for activation over wifi, or cellular network (if the aim is active). You'll then see a prompt to enter your iCloud info if it's unlocked. If not, you'll get "invalid sim." Once you do it once, and it succeeds, you'll be able to hot swap without ever leaving the home screen. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  2. It's working now. I didn't do anything. Strange. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  3. I did a fresh install of 8.1..3 a few days ago, and rebuilt my phone from scratch. My battery seems like it's back to normal now. 50% remaining: 7:14 usage, 12:34 standby. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  4. 8.1.3. No error. It just doesn't do anything. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  5. Mine, and all the others I've read about in various forums were instant. Do a ##update# and throw in a different sim. Or, call/chat Apple, and they'll tell you off the IMEI of it's unlocked. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  6. Tapping "open cellularinfo" from the notification shade no longer opens the app for me. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  7. I think that's for international, or did it work as domestic for you? I tried it with my phone a week ago, and it didn't work. It told me to call customer care. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Like I said, just keep trying. This is a huge catastrophe for Sprint, and probably only 10% of reps know what a DSU is, and how to do it. Just ask for a supervisor, or to be transferred to advanced technical support. I, too, had a handful of reps try to give me this magical "00000000" MSL. I said, "oh, yeah? And where should I enter this?" "..." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Basically. If it seems sketchy, or the rep starts making up B.S. policies on the fly, ask for a supervisor. They may try to dissuade you every way they can. "Your phone may not work anywhere else; you might lose your Sprint number; you need to wait 90 days; etc.." Just refer to www.sprint.com/unlock and keep reading their own policy back to them. 12. In all honesty, you need a prayer. I called everyday for 1 week until I found a supervisor with knowledge. It may be attributed to getting the bugs out of the system, but it was tough. As long as you meet these 3 requirements, they'll unlock it: no installment/contract on the line, account in good standing, and not reported lost/stolen. The unlock push is instant, and only required a ##update#. You don't have to restore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Yep. I used T-Mobile yesterday, and I'm using cricket today. I haven't tried another provider around here in at least 18 months other than briefly in a burner prepaid phone. I'm trying to see what all the hoopla is about, but I just don't see it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I'm running a cricket sim today, and AT&T band 17 is showing as 10x10 like it should. Also, I like the new text layout. Looks cleaner than before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. There's a new Tapatalk update out right now. They shrunk the forum header with a swipe right function to see forum description, and they changed the "timeline, subscribed, etc." buttons to text only, and it's like a wheel. Stupid. There's also supposedly notification reliability improvements and bug fixes. Meh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. It's fantastic. Simple and effective. It's what's been missing from every S4GRU iPhone user's device since network vision began. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Welcome to premier. It's the least we could do. Thanks for the app. The new one looks great, and 6+ landscape now works great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. He would need any 15x15 and 20x20 to get the reading. Unfortunately, I think unless you have the source code or access to the underlying core telephony files, you wouldn't be able to see the right measurement. Only Nahum has that right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. It most certainly will work the same way. Apple wouldn't allow a wifi calling app for Sprint iPhones if it's baked into the OS. Plus, aren't Sprint and T-Mobile already using the same service for their android wifi calling? The name is escaping me right now, but I think it starts with a "T." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Those numbers may work for those situations, but you should gather data from a 15x15 T-Mobile and a 20x20 T-Mobile/Verizon just to see if a pattern follows. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. You have time. That goes until 4/9 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Sprint unlocked it for me this morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
