I did this here back in 2013, but events last year had me too busy to start up another or participate...but I decided to get an early start on things and get it going again, because it was a great deal of fun before. For those who weren't around 2 years ago, this is mostly just for the fun of playing against fellow members who also happen to be college football fans, but as I'll detail at the end, there's also a bit of incentive thrown in to help make it a little interesting.
For the signup information, people who are basic S4GRU Sponsor level or higher, you may click here for details:If you wish to play but are not yet a Sponsor, send me a private message through the forums, and I'll be happy to send you the signup information that way.
I obviously can't force everyone to do this, but I request that you please use your S4GRU member nickname when you sign up so everyone knows who everyone else is. This is especially important if you're playing for the sponsorship winnings.
The parameters for the group are the same as the last time we played, which are:
(a.) straight up picks
(b.) confidence points are used (i.e., you assign the higher points to the picks you're more confident about, and the smaller points are assigned to picks you feel the least confident in)
(c.) Everyone's two worst weeks as the season progresses are discarded from the overall point total calculations
(d.) A combination of both AP Top 25 and weekly Yahoo game picks are used for the roster of picks each week
Finally, once again, as an added incentive to play, particularly for those who are either newer members, or otherwise haven't made it to Premier or Honored Premier status yet: I will personally donate $50 to the site at the end of the year in the name of the winner. There's roughly 26 days until the likely first game of the Week 1 slate (there's often a Friday night game involved), so there should be ample time for people to join up prior to then. Here's to a fun, healthy competition, and good luck everyone!

Every time there is an update, I also update the history list.
Pretty cool seeing the progression of some folks.

I agree....though I wish this had been in place since the beginning. The original 2 lists are still preserved via post #'s 10 and 17 however thanks to JimBob & AJ quotes though.
I still to this day am floored I started out at #3, but I'm very glad to have seen all the activity since whereby I was moved down the list and others being involved in helping keep this community alive.

With the mentality of some people in today's society, they really enjoy the shock factor. Legere is becoming as annoying, for me at least, as Vince (not our Vince) selling his soul to Slap Chop...
This is the far superior version of Vince and the Slap Chop:

For anyone who's a fan of Zerolemon's cases with the high capacity batteries (i have one for my current Galaxy S4), I got confirmation that they're planning on releasing one for the G4. No firm ETA yet but its coming.
Per a post on their Facebook page, ZeroLemon's G4 extended battery case should be coming out in late September:

Not sure quite yet if I'm going to upgrade to a G4 or not, but if I do I'll be buying one.

You guys made me pull up Google Maps I kept reading the above and thinking 'What the heck are they talking about? 76 doesn't run anywhere near Allentown - Interstate 78 does but that's not a toll highway.' Had no idea about 476....I've only ever heard 76 referenced as the Turnpike.

Been a little over a month ago, but there's still a later rdf than the current release out there - OF1:

That said, note that this rdf is 2 months after the current release (OD2). Looks to still be on 5.0.(x?).
