Guess I will be reaching out to them again today! Thanks.
Call the Magicbox group directly. Good luck!

To follow up I received the following text: Great news! Your 4G LTE CellSpot setup has been successful at XXXXXXXXX.
I looked over at the unit, all the lights were solid green. Checked my phone and it showed 'full bars'. Wow this thing is a beast. Went all around the house upstairs & downstairs and FAST speedtests and full bars throughout. MUCH better than any of the Sprint Airaves or Magicboxes that I've had over the years by far...

Are CellSpots still working/available? T-Mobile told me that was not an option for me when I called about my Airave deactivated.
I just switched my 1st of 6 lines to TNX a couple days ago. When on the phone I was talking about the near zero cell signal in my basement on both Sprint and T-Mo bands. They said that since I have a TNX line I can get a Cellspot which UPS just dropped off 30 min ago. I plugged it in and the power light is flashing, so assume it's configuring/booting up. It's not "live" yet...

Since Sprint has disabled the Airave units, does anyone have a need/want for my Airave 3?

I decided to order the return kit for my Airave 4 LTE. Not messing with it anymore. They indeed did deactivate all of them as previously stated by others. T-Mobile has nothing to replace it with yet, apparently...unless any of you know something.
T-Mobile does have something to replace it if you have migrated to T-Mo. It's the 4G LTE CellSpot.

I haven't seen anyone saying much on this..but have the airave/airvana's officially been decommissioned??
Noticed a couple of weeks ago mine had 2-3 red lights ( I'm thinking 2...but I don't want to get up and go look)...
I've tried the pin-hole reset...unplugging...still get the same thing...it's appearing to be offline..
Same here.

Mine is about 50/50. It's definitely on MB Gold less frequently.
I unplugged the Airave. It simply will no longer connect to it.
They just updated the T-Mob equipment on the tower nearest me so hopefully it will be broadcasting B71 from it soon. If so, it should eliminate the need for the Airave entirely.
-
I noticed recently that my Pixel 4 XL's will rarely if ever connect to my STRONG Airave signal. it will hold on to a -120 B71 or B26 signal instead.

Does ANYONE struggle with insufficient speeds? I give zero f-cks about the actual Mbps number. Does it hinder you at all , at any time? It doesn't me. It simply works. Is that so bad? And I'm on "just" 4G. Asking for a friend.
Yes me. Anything south, west, and north of Kearney, NE until you hit Denver. Phone locks onto AT&T roaming and speeds are horrid

Speeds are too low for the sizes of files/documents I work with and need to manipulate.
Did you actually try it? I've seen speeds upwards of 500/50+.

I forgot to mention that I received a mailer for T-Mobile's 5G Internet service the other day. Unfortunately it wouldn't work well for the kind of work I need to do remotely, but I'm glad it's here as another option for people.
Why won't T-Mobile's service work for you out of curiosity?

Not the best fit for DC:
But it's an amazing technology....
yep worth a try though if possible!

Hopefully this comes to the DC Area at some point.... because Fios still isn't available for me in D.C.
Google Fiber never showed up either.
Verizon offers 7.1 - 15 Mbps D/L speed DSL.
So I have a choice of Xfinity or RCN.
(or Starlink?)

Ah, ok. So the speed test app would NOT be good to test that.
When I do a test on fast.com, i get 6.3Mbps. Upload is 6.5Mbps
6.3Mbps is solid for video streaming.

Well..I just received the Tmobile femtocell. I am not sure if this is the device referred to as "Pebble"..but here's the model number: ALU 9961v2 4GLTE CELLSPOT. I wasn't sure exactly what they would send...since they've gone from some sort of cooked-firmware Asus routers, to some type of femtocell as this. Has Nokia on the back of it.
How did you obtain the Tmobile femtocell? Are you on Sprint billing or T-Mobile billing?

All AT&T along I-80 in Nebraska now instead of USCC or Viaero. No idea why when it would make sense to go with one of the actual roaming partners.
It's not just I80, it's the entire state from what I have noticed. And it seems to be capped at 256/256kb. VERY slow. Wish USCC was prioritized like it used to be!

The other advantage of a TNX SIM is that you can force-roam on some networks through the built-in network search menu, at least on Android. The network still needs to be one that T-Mobile allows roaming on in that area, but it's been handy for me in a few areas where T-Mobile is weak but US Cellular is pretty reliable - I can go into the network selector and choose US Cellular so it stays on that network instead of trying to grab onto a weak T-Mobile signal.
US Cellular is a roaming partner for T-Mobile like Sprint? how are the speeds on it when roaming? hard cap or are they good?
I wonder if you can force roam like you mention on Pixel devices? This would be great for me. I am on a Sprint sim and lately instead of roaming on US Cellular (very adequate speeds) it's been roaming on AT&T (horrible speeds)!!!

Too bad they only allow roaming in specific areas.
Aint that the truth! (4G at least)

This turned out to be Roaming on US Cellular some 5G but mostly LTE with speeds varying more towards 5/15 down and 1/3 up. Quite usable IMO.
Boy do I miss US Cellular LTE roaming here in Nebraska. It's on AT&T 99% of the time now and speeds SUCK!

Just ran a speedtest while connected to my Magic Box Gold. It was substantially higher than any previous time before. For the heck of it, I checked the software version and it's 15.17.50.557
Just wanted to throw that out there.

I didn't check was driving and the wife gets mad when I fiddle with the phone while driving haha.
But I could stream a pod cast and an mlb game. So ok enough for that
MLB game (video too?) or just audio? I wonder if roaming "speeds" vary market to market even though you are still on the same provider (AT&T)?

On the way home along the I-15 corridor it parked me on att roaming... I couldn't get it to kick off. I don't know if they are working on things out here or what...
But even my signal check has been bouncing in and out of signal. It won't let me load the screen recording of it though. So I don't know if it's the app or the signal
How were the speeds?

The roaming agreement with att (which btw solved the problem with a tower in a better spot). But the data here .04 & .03. What type of agreement is that.
This exactly. Same here in Nebraska. Sprint used to roam on USCC here and the speeds were very useable! Not like native Sprint but good enough.
Now when roaming, it wants to latch on AT&T and speeds are horrendous. Like throttled to .05 up and .05 down. SUCKS!

I don't think having legacy lines had anything to do with it. Maybe the fact that I had an Airave and MagicBox prior maybe. Maybe not.
