  1. Both my wife and I's Pixel 2 XL's will not connect to LTE roaming since updating to 9.0 Pie. Can I do a "Update device config" to see if that fixes it on Wifi? I am in non-Sprint for the next few days....
  2. My post was meant as satire. The serious question is, does the Pixel 1, 2 (or both) support 2x CA UL?
  3. Can't say I've noticed that in the Nebraska/Iowa market... I have noticed though that the phone will jump more quickly to LTE roaming instead of searching and searching and searching when you leave native Sprint service area... Edit: I am noticing drops down to 3G for sure!
  4. Just a heads up on my Magic Box experience as of this weekend... Took the MB to a cabin we frequent. This is the first time I've taken the MB, since it's on fringe B25 signal, I figured I would give it a try. The MB booted and connected promptly to the donor tower. My Pixel 2 XL connected to it reasonably fast, probably within 5-10 minutes after complete. However, my wife's Pixel 2 XL (same phone as me) WOULD NOT connect to it at all the entire 40 hours we were there. I tried doing a PRL update, Update device config, Airplane toggles, reboots, etc. It simply would not connect to the MB. Instead it bounced between B25, B26, and 3G.
  5. I am just guessing, but I would think that it would latch on 1x for voice but still roam for LTE data. This is the case for many locations now...
  6. Anyone know if "Ultra HD" is still an option with the new plans? It's $10/mo/line with Unlim Freedom.
  7. You are right, I'm not speaking for anyone. Honest question, would you prefer 200 Mb down, 8 Mb up or 100 Mb down, 100 Mb up, same pings?
  8. I know enough about how bandwidth works to know what works best for my needs, as well as many others. 2 Bazillion down and 1 trickle up simply doesn't make sense for everyone's needs. HEYYY look how fast our network is..... we can pump out 200Mb/s down!! (but cough cough, upload peaks out at 8Mb). So when you are in a congested area or a spotty service area (which there's plenty), you might have a 3Mb/s download speed (which is ok for most everyone), however upload is at .20 Mb/s which blows. I'm not speaking for everyone, however fast upload speeds and low ping times makes a world of difference in the real world of the internet...
  9. This. However, I would also try an entirely different location (maybe that has a known strong signal). After it fully boots up and works, take it back to the non-working location and try again. It may need to be on for several hours for it to fully boot up and do it's thing...
  10. Ya, no thanks. Sprint must know something that AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile don't??? I don't think so...
  11. They can definitely be finicky so anything is possible for sure!
  12. odd. can you take it somewhere else to see if it works elsewhere, then try again if it does?
  13. does his address clear this? https://www.sprint.com/landings/magic-box-eligibility/index.html
