  1. It is when you are future proof your network. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. It really isn't that big of a deal. I get Deprioritized every month and I don't really notice any difference in my services. It only applies to busy towers when traffic is heavy or when your service would be slow anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I quoted it as it was written when I quoted it. I see the up date. Thanks. That is good news. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah. I know. Sprint now has the worse offer for people who Travel to Canada and Mexico. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. They should continue the free 1 gig in Canada and Mexico at least. Every other carrier offers free roaming in these two countries. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Sprint wouldn't get fiber nation wide and can rent fiber. It needs low band spectrum if it is going to compete nation wide. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. It doesn't look like T-Mobile will need Sprint for it's spectrum anytime soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. All the spectrum in the world does Sprint no good if it remains offline. I am parked on a 2xCA tower at work that is overloaded and has been for at least 3 months. If it is only software why not flip the switch on 3xCA or why not 2 2xCA carriers? It really makes little sense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Or hopefully sprint expands their network. That would be best. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The problem Sprint has is that it isn't a winning strategy to bluff on the network in the wireless industry. You have to deliver on your core product. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. It is going to help ATT with keeping their average speed high. Further, I don't think ATT is going to bypass the methods Sprint to get more usability out of high band spectrum. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Sprint's spectrum argument keeps eroding. If they could have gotten the spectrum on air sooner sprint might have been able to fill "the fastest" network niche. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Does it support 4x4 Mimo? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I am tell you, the FCC chair is as free market a regulator as it comes. He would stamp an approval for an ATT T-Mobile tie up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I would be will to bet whatever you want that it would get approved. The chair of the FCC is a hands off guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Why would you need to run a speed test? The network should never give you issues with speed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. "Negative" is subjective. If SG4RU is going to "discipline" for someone expressing their disinterest in Sprint's "look what we can do but don't actually do" game so be it. It seems petty, but I am not going to lose sleep over it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Is it deployed anywhere and available for consumers? If not, I don't care. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Vzw has 27 billion of operating income. There debt to operating income ratio is ~3-4:1. By contrast Sprint has an operating income of ~300 million and debt of 30 billion. That is a debt to income ratio of 100:1. Totally, different situations. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. That is my point. The merger of regional carriers was necessary to bring the cost down for Nation wide service. There was another round of merger between national carriers in the mid to late 2000s right before 3G was going to be deployed. Again, prices fell and the quality of services went up. If we had waited until each of regional carriers had built out a national network of their own to keep a large number of players in the field I doubt we would even have national networks. Like wise for the wave of consolidation right before the rollout of 3G, prices and quality would have been fare worse. My point is the "right" number of players in the market can't be gleamed by looking at the price of the good or services they offer. You have to look at the dynamics of the industry and the health of the firms operating in it. I don't think Sprint will have the resources to deploy a competitive 5g network, it is a real question if they'll be able to service their debt over the next few years. If you look at the industry more broadly it looks like a three player industry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
