  1. I did a little mapping around the stadium. Closest site is not yet live but there is LTE from a distant tower. borderline weak signal. Floyd and Central Ave
  2. Not kid rated My nephew loves Cailou and Special agent Oso right now. I have my Netflix account setup on our big tv, and now when I log in my top 10 is nothing but kid shows.
  3. Stumbled across a site in southern IN yesterday on my lunch break. Cabinets are in place and panels and RRUs are hung. Its in the Duke Energy parking lot off Eastern Blvd. I had lunch at the KFC and saw it out the window. Drove over to investigate.
  4. I stand corrected. Couldn't connect at all on my way back. Good thing I got the serving cell IDs the first time.
  5. Its still live. Just did some mapping as I came home. Should show up soon. Panels went up on Friday last week. Pretty impressive seeing that some of the first sites from two months ago still aren't live.
  6. Might have been testing the tower in brooks. The equipment went up last week. Hopefully it will be accepted today.
  7. Where exactly at? Can you go into the engineering screen and post the serving cell you connected to?
  8. Just got back from a weekend of camping at the lake. Enjoy the time off.
  9. I got a little bit as I got off the Waterson at Dixie Hwy and went south. Cycled and got it right as I got off, and held it pretty far south. Signal traveled pretty far but speed wasn't what I expected for the signal strength.
  10. A new tower in testing mode. Probably be accepted in a day or two.
  11. If this is from 5th and Market, I would say it is a new tower. That would be extremely far for the accepted tower in the west end to still have that speed.
  12. Did you cycle airplane mode as you went through? I connected as I drove in to UofL from work just a bit ago. My phone will not connect if I do not cycle airplane mode. As for Shepherdsville, I have not yet seen anything besides fiber being ran unfortunately.
  13. If you use map trip, it will plot the points to the map where you have LTE. Nothing is showing up as of now. Thanks for the report.
  14. Doesn't really matter. There are several sites with new equipment up. they'll be turned on very soon. They'll probably announce Louisville as it reaches 50% completion or so.
  15. I found another site in Louisville that had new panels and rrus up off Fern Valley Rd.
  16. Found two more sites with work about to begin in Louisville today. One had panels, new cabling, and RRU's laying on the ground but no new cabinets. Other site only had cabinets that I could see. Hoping to see the completed sites start broadcasting soon.
  17. I was a big fan of DIscovery's Storm Chasers series when it was still on. Tim was very successful at deploying his probes in the path of tornados for research. The data he collected over the years has undoubtedly advanced warning times and saved many other people's lives. He was definitely one of the best in his field. Hopefully other people can pick up his research and continue his mission. Weather is one of the most fascinating things on this planet, and yet also one of the most unpredictable and deadly. RIP Tim Samaras, Paul Samaras, and Carl Young Watching people like Sean Casey and Reed Timmer put vehicles in the path of a storm and surviving can give a false sense of the power of these storms. I love watching the footage they collect but pray that they return safely. Reed has started his own show, "Tornado Chasers" for those interested. www.tvnweather.com
  18. I found another site in Louisville yesterday off the Gene Synder. Still has work going on but it is close to completion. I'll post pics and site id in sponsor section after I get some sleep. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
