  1. Should I be concerned if it says "need to fix"?
  2. I'm not even sure what APN even is. Maybe Robert or AJ can chime in on this.
  3. Does anybody else's phone say "APN list: Need to Fix" on eHRPD engineering screen? https://www.dropbox.com/s/egzlyh0cxk2763x/2012-11-29%2022.35.40.png
  4. These are my seats for this season. One of the perks of being a student, cheap season tickets. https://www.dropbox.com/s/olex0fwr446c4n8/2012-11-11%2015.41.27.jpg
  5. I wonder if this is an inbuilding solution for sprint? It appears to be right on top of the KFC Yum Center. There are two other towers within about a 1/4 mile of this one. I noticed that I had better signal inside, about 4 bars or so, but data is still useless. During halftime I can't even open google.com. Last year I had either no signal or roaming inside the arena. Louisville's next game is Saturday, I'll look around a bit and see if i see anything.
  6. Looks like eHRPD is going live. Had it in southwest Louisville and now Shepherdsville.
  7. I have been to the site a couple of times already. I think that the NV equipment is on the very top. I found it hard to get good pictures because the time of day I went there were lots of cars and not many places to pull of that little road. I have pictures of far off, and right under it. Hope you have better luck. My pictures are posted in the interactive maps section under the thread for Nashville, West/East Kentucky.
  8. I'm a college student about a year away from graduating with a Computer Information Systems degree. So all this watching and tracking NV progress has gotten me curious lately. What types of jobs are there related to cell service? In all likelihood this will not be the career path I take, but for curiosities sake I figured I'd look into it. I think being a part of building and maintaining cell infrastructure would be an interesting career. Not just for Sprint and NV, but the industry in general. I'd imagine most of the techs probably have engineering degrees. Anyone able to offer any insight?
  9. It is the first step in the process. It is change. It means NV is a relaity, not just some idea that might not happen. Even if LTE is 6 months or more away, it is still a change. Sprint has blown a lot of smoke in this area as it has others regarding network upgrades.
  10. eHRPD is a good indication that NV work is starting in the area. I check everywhere for it. It has already been reported in the southern end of the market, but that may be due to work going on in Tennessee.
  11. I've checked several times on my gs3. No eHRPD yet for Louisville or Bullitt county.
  12. Do you think that its possible that the Ericsson markets may pick up the pace now?
  13. Had a dream last night that I woke up and LTE just worked. Complete with speedtest and sensorly updates. LTE must be coming.
  14. Give me Network Vision, or give me death.

  15. Any news is good news. Maybe they'll just keep pushing north from Tennessee and work their way up to Louisville.
  16. Thanks for the answer. I finally have a Galaxy s3 on the way. If I start picking up 4g this site will be the first to know. I hope LTE hits soon. I can't wait to rub it in some peoples faces that recently switched from Sprint to AT&T if I get l LTE before them.
