  1. I bought Office Suite (From $15 to a $0.25 its a steal), Granny Smith and Task.
  2. They're installing everything, as soon as the site is accepted as completed, it should have lte equipment installed. It doesn't mean LTE will be up. The problem isn't EVDO speed, is the backhaul, before the mass smartphone euphoria on sprint (pre EVO 4G), sprint internet was great around the island, i remember using EVDO rev a pcmcia cards with over 2mb and my ppc-6700 wasn't rev a. but was fast enough, but the number of smartphone users was minimal, i remember paying 600 cash for windows mobile phones, when people was still using moto razors.
  3. Good speed are spotty right now because of the early stage on completed sites of nv rollout in the island, I did tests from Mayaguez up to Ponce, and found 3 o 4 places with 1.5mb or more. 1 at Guanica-Yauco, others in Guayanilla and Ponce, but the good news of this, the network its getting better and better.
  4. Sprint have 8 sites on mayaguez, you can found them on sponsor forum, sites are located close to: El Vertedero Terrace El Zoologico Cerro Las Mesas Video Avenue Mayaguez Mall (Wallmart) Viaducto Plaza Mayaguez
  5. I think Sprint would announce a WP8 variation like always do with the EVO line..
  6. Samsung new ad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nf5-Prx19ZM&feature=player_embedded
  7. Kaku, both are good phones, i went with the galaxy because of the bootloader, is so easy to root, flash cwm and all stuff with odin, i get lazy with all the adb process to s-off on the htc.
  8. Kaku i get the gs3 for me also and no regret on it, running aokp jellybean. Guys keep it on english :-), we can ask Robert to see if we can have a regional or a spanish topic so we can talk spanish without breaking rules.
  9. Check this speed test I did at Guanica today, NV 3g should be online, on this area..
  10. Nothing new here... a speed bump on cpu and gpu, screen got taller and body... added lte... Apple doesn't set the bar anymore... a good upgrade for iphone users...
  11. They're updating sites around the island but I think the backhaul's are what determines what sites are going live first...
  12. Well good news for los Boricuas with the press release we can see lte soon: http://s4gru.com/ind...k-is-under-way/ The 4G LTE Network build is under way in the following areas: Aguadilla-Isabela-San Sebastian, Puerto Rico Coamo, Puerto Rico Guayama, Puerto Rico Mayaguez, Puerto Rico Ponce, Puerto Rico San German-Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico San Juan, Puerto Rico Yauco, Puerto Rico
  13. link to a bigger photo http://dl.dropbox.co...46943691/nv.jpg You can notice the difference between the new and old panels, new one are bigger and have RRU's (Radio Remote Unit) on the back. I know waiting for LTE and NV kill us, but seen that they're getting the sites updated, looks like when 4g core and backhaul are ready we should see a lot of coverage around the island, hope so. Robert (SGRU) hasn't hear any news from PR recently but seeing NV equipment installed on some sites close to its schedule, look like good news for us.
  14. Here is a pic of a Guanica site id PR03XC038. You can see new nv equipment installed. According to schedule 3G and LTE on this site should be up early next year. No EHRP, only EVDO and a speed test with -75 signal was 449kb.
  15. I know how it feels, i'm always on wifi, but as soon I have to use 3g, i start missing AT&T service, but Im keeping my faith on sprint..
  16. They're working and installing panels according to schedules (if they are on schedule an not behind it), but we not gonna see any LTE until Bayamon 4G Core center is finished. We don't know status of that. Probably Robert gonna give us some light when he get more info. According schedule we should start seeing LTE sites up around december - march 2013.
  17. A great article on gizmodo http://m.gizmodo.com/5938219/why-the-apple-v-samsung-ruling-may-not-hold-up
  18. Kaku bienvenido al foro mi pana! To have a better idea, you can go to antennasearch.com, put carr. #2 and town name on the search address, it will give you all the towers in that area, and will give you the antenna owners like sprint, att, tmo or claro. Then you can compare it with the interactive maps her on the sponsors forum. Me puedes enviar un pm si necesitas ayuda.
  19. Time to see if your local tower have a nest, then start shooting to them with BB's jejeje
  20. I'm running CM10 on mine... you can reset the flash counter using Chainfire Triangle Away app that now supports GS3.
  21. Robert: This is a photo that I took today from site id PR03XC033 in hormigueros and according to the schedule, the RRU were supposed to be installed on june 22, and ant/panels on july 2. I made a red circle around what I think are RRU's. According to antennasearch, this tower is a multiple carrier one, that includes ATT, Tmobile, PR Wireless and Sprint. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/46943691/PR03XC033.jpg
  22. Thanks guys.. hoping to see some LTE around here before my girl turn 1...
