  1. You forgot Long Beach, CA and Glendale, CA. This map starkly illustrates how the entire western half of the country is being largely ignored. It's a shame.
  2. Now more than ever I feel like i need to see the maps for the planned September deployments. If I just saw a few sites in San Diego starting it could really calm my nerves.
  3. Well hopefully, they will wait for a California event like the iphone 5 launch or MobileCon in San Diego to announce the cities west of the Rockies. I can only assume that this current announcement was made without reference to the west coast because Samsung and Alcatel-Lucent haven't released updated progress reports for the region.
  4. There was not a single city in the Mountain Time Zone and only LA in the Pacific time zone. I thought that San Francisco was under way and I swear I saw some 4G sites in the San Jose/Silicon valley area on the maps on this site. It seems like they failed to list cities west of the Rockies except for LA. Was this list simply thrown together from a much larger list or is this all we can expect in the coming months?
  5. There's some new phantom sites on Sensorly's maps in Oceanside, CA 92056. They seem to be exactly in the same spots where Sprint's fastest 3G data speeds are. I wonder if Clearwire shares towers with Sprint or vice-versa in these areas. I don't have a wimax phone so I can't test them out.
  6. is there any chance that San Diego will have any sites that are scheduled for September? I can't wait to see the September maps.
  7. It was already shown in a court of law that Samsung blatantly infringed on apple and that it wasn't by accident but rather by systematic efforts to willfully steal from apple. For all the Samsung supporters, I wonder how you would feel if someone stole from you.
  8. My 3G performance has been dismal lately. Areas that used to be near 1Mbps are now down to 250 kbps consistently. The network in north San Diego County is too crowded. Sprint needs more towers, data capacity or even Clearwire (gasp) to come in and install some network coverage. Something must be done!
  9. I can't wait to see the September maps and the first San Diego sites!
  10. Right, Right... I just don't worry that Sprint will delay their launch plans because of people complaining about spotty coverage. The fact of the matter is that they need to have as many cities listed as possible as having 4G LTE even if the coverage is not so great. I think Sprint will continue to launch markets with as little as 40% coverage. Verizon launched San Diego in 2010 and they still haven't covered the whole San Diego market. It took them over a year to get to my neighborhood. Sprint also needs to launch markets as soon as possible. If you check google news, all the stories are about Sprint's new coverage and not about complaints by customers.
  11. I see your point however Sprint doesn't really listen to its critics. So as upsetting as this may be for you, I don't think that any complaining will influence Sprint at all. I doubt they will delay any launches because if they did, it would look like a big failure and probably destroy their stock value.
