  1. i think the next android update is "Kit Kat" and looks like we are staying o the 4 series.
  2. Alright got Autovoice opening a few apps. Got urgent calls coming through when on night mode so not just anyone can wake me up at 3:00 a.m. Starting to use variables alot more. Probably one of the best apps i have ever used. Also have ot automatically syncing certain folders to google drive and soon my server.
  3. Disregard last post I'm an idiot. If Louisiana is getting it than there shouldn't be any reason Memphis should not get it. Anyone have a reason for why memphis isn't getting any 800SMR switch flipping yet?
  4. well i hope they dont go the verizon route but most likely they will.
  5. So is Clear still going to be there own service for residential/business customers or is sprint going to fully integrate that service into thier products/services?
  6. updated my wife Iphone 4 and it is also running 60797 PRL. Anyone else call a Iphone on sprint and the first call goes to voice mail immediately and then you call again and it rings til they answer?

    LG Optimus G

Anyone runnin cm10.2 from xda on their LGOG?
  8. So we arent getting it til every site can be turned on at once or what? I want 800 over LTe at this point
  9. So i see ericson is doing 800 "switch flipping", now I notice that in Memphis area they are accepting 4g/3g towers but they dont flip that switch. Why would they want to come back to that site, seems like a complete waste of resources.
  10. I wouldnt think they would light up 800 LTE on a non 3g accepted site. Seems kinda of a waste of time.
  11. Appreciate that. Definitely figured out why I'm seeing updates on the acceptance reports and not much on my map. I've been looking at only 50% area of the market the whole time. Thanks again.
  12. yea but it would be nice if the majority of the general public took a little more time to understand what goes on behind the scenes for our cell phones, cars, etc. It drives me insane when a machine at my work breaks down and supervisors are looking at you like why wasn't it fixed 5 min ago!
  13. Is there anyway to see a map of all the antennas in our specific market. I keep seeing updates per the acceptance reports but having a hard time seeing the actual change in Memphis market.
  14. This will probably be my next phone also. Ive got the Optimus G and it has been one of the best phones I have owned. Quality and Performance.
  15. Yea i wish i could get more info on the two towers on Shelby drive and Lamar that have been "In Progress" for a bout 6 months or more.
  16. I'm gonna have to get my wife to let go of her iPhone 4. It pains me to know she can't utilize the network im paying for.
  17. Yea i just know at my house I need 800 to get me even just 3 or 4 bars. But i will just have to see when they complete my tower how my phone acts and what channel it rides on most of the time. Ultimately i just want great voice calls inside for now. Decent LTeEservice would be great but voice is on my list first.
  18. Did not think of that part. Most of our phones show 1x on the signal bars anyways. So for the non S4gru member it will appear if LTE and everything has great signal even though you may be riding voice on 1x and LTE might be on 2600 or 1900 and you only have a fair signal. But to a normal consumer they see full bars and love their service for that.
  19. I am guessing that maybe Softbank and Sprint had a nice long sit down and maybe the game plan changed now that they are pushing the 2600 band. Maybe they are wanting to kick all in at one time per site rather than keep contractors going back to a site over and over again.
  20. I would like it to be 800>1900>2600. Off load to next band as each one gets loaded to ALMOST full Capacity. But ya are they experts and are probably right in how they will handle this
  21. Yea i always give extra time. I am a mechanic and I have learned to give yourself the extra time so your not finishing up when the customer needs their equipment. Also helps when you run into issues not seen. Instead of having a customer looking at you asking why isn't my truck ready.
  22. Completing all at once does sound good especially keeping contractors from visiting same site over and over again. So are we thinking maybe by end of 2015 we should have a damn near complete network? That ought to give them some time to account for all the stuff they cant control to finish a site
  23. I wonder if they will release a timeline for this part of the network to be completed? Or leave that unknown and just build out as they can.
