So are we thinking when IDEN shuts down we will be geeting 1x/voice on 800 turned on on alot of twoers soon?

Looks like Memphis has slowed down a bit.

Anyone know who is laying the fiber? I hope this means i can get real high speed internet and dump my satellite internet. I miss comcast internet everyday. Without ot I cant start my new vpn project.

Phone runs very smooth for me. Very good radio peformance also.

Its nice to be finally be able to ride around and get 4g most of the time. I need to do some more speedtest. Anyone else been pulling numbers for memphis?

Had this phone for a week and so far best phone I have owned. Trying to talk into the wife buying one and replacing her iphone 4.

Yesterday I drove down Tchulohma all the way to 302 and registered 4g all the way til i drove over 302. I uploaded results on sensorly but they still havent updated. Do they have to have more than one person register 4g in an area before updating map. Is there a way for me to resend that info?

Well im hoping for my tower being that it used for everyone within a 5 square mile area. That they approve 800 soon. I may be wrong but i thought i read somewhere that they turn it on sometimes before it is fully approved through Sprint. I may have drummed that up myself just out of pure want, so correct me if I am wrong.

Alright got the LG Optimus G and Ive got the 25013 PRL. Now I am in Memphis, TN and im hoping that this means I m getting 800 in my area. Question is this PRL given to the phones that will support 800SMR or is the handed out per region?

Yea just got LG optimus g yesterday. Awesome phone so far. While i was in the store I spoke to a guy that is in memphis upgrading the towers. He said it is going slower than it was supposed to be. Anyways from all the info i have read on this site and some interviews with sprint guys on youtube i believe that once this network is complete we will have one of the best overall networks. All the disappointment was worth it. I do know that they have come all the way down I-55 into northern MS. I am waiting to see if they have upgraded the tower I use off Starlanding Rd. I will try and get some pictures of it and post on this thread soon.

Looks like Memphis is building steam. Looks like coverage is starting in north Mississippi also.

I ordered exede be here Tuesday. glad to hear that lye is popping up in Memphis even though may not be live by the projected November deadline.

alright i went to sprints newtork site and the antenna is roughly 1.5 miles away my signal inside my house varies from -92 - -102dbm. What do you think guys? Talked to the wife and i am getting satellite internet. Airrave wont work with that internet so i just trying to figure out if i can get decent signal down here for calls and even just 3g. When i get paid ill send some money your way. What is the going rate needed to help ya out and get me sponsor level thats not a slap in the face to you but doesn't kill my wallet either.

Thanks for the quick replies. Problem is that I recently moved and i cannot get cable internet or dsl. Basically my options are satellite internet or sprint service. By the maps i have seen I have one tower ab a mile from my house. Using open signal maps i keep connecting to one ab 2 miles south of me. With NV does that stretch the towers coverage area?

any more news on Memphis,TN?

appreciate it, I live in northern Mississippi. and there are two towers near my house. is Memphis still on cue for starting September.

Just joined. Been watching this page for a while. Memphis is suppose to start in September but when I check there site they aren't showing many updates over next 6 months. the ones that are are mostly voice and data capacity, not many data speed. any incite into what I'm missing? thanks again
