That's the beauty of Sensorly. It just runs in the background and you don't need to do anything with it.

Yup but for some reason I'm addicted to my phone and checking it for no reason

Well today a cop caught me using sensorly in traffic. (Hes right I shouldn't plus a the new law against using the phone in the car that started recently doesnt help either)
He let me off with a warning so I went to costco and bought myself a handsfree speakerphone since I get a ton of calls while driving.
S-Voice and Siri make this thing awesome for voice dialing.
I got LTE while visiting some friends near the drive in plaza at bayamon.
Signal was kind of jumpy -110 so speedtests sucked.

I hate it! Meh not really its useless to me since I fly from Puerto Rico to Miami mostly and gogo wont work unless the Plane is within 50miles of the CONUS.

I passed through the Palmas Station site this morning (pass there almost every day). I just stopped and noticed the site for the first time and all I can say is wow!. That site is HUGE compared to others, still no LTE or NV from my GS3 so the LTE signal I got the other day was probly from the Plaza del Sol site.
Here is a pic of the Plaza Rio hondo sites. Like I said, there are two sites on the same building so one may belong to another carrier. Sorry for the quality of the pics, I took them while riding with my friends and didnt want to make them stop
This is the first site
Second site which I believe is Sprints

No worries and yeah it should be soon, the plaza del sol site has been broadcasting for a while now with excellent speeds.
-
the Caribbean Cinemas @ Plaza Río Hondo site showed up 3G/4G complete in the map a while ago, but the new backhaul doesn't seem to be in place yet, should be soon though, a 4G signal from it is a very good sign

The 4g signal wasn't coming from the Caribbean Cinemas site, it was my mistake thinking it did. I am connected to it on 1x for voice and have a -60 signal (great voice coverage). LTE was coming from another site since it kept dropping out and had a -107 signal.
As another member said it could be the Palmas Station reaching the Rio Hondo Area.
I hope it starts broadcasting NV 3g and LTE soon. There are a lot of neighborhoods around the Rio Hondo area that would benefit from the upgraded data services. Also I am moving from Mayaguez back to Bayamon to finish my studies at UPR Bayamon so I will be able to test the NV site on campus soon. (Don't know if its completed yet, but I'll find out soon)

Definitely a mediocre signal. If you live in a wood frame structure then you may be able to maintain a usable signal in the interior of your home. However, if you have a metal, brick, block or concrete building then there is no way to keep a -107 RSRP signal going to the interior. You will need to closer site to come live to have good 4G. However, this is definitely progress.
Robert
I agree, it is progress. Since I got the phone I've been visiting my parents and toggling airplane mode everywhere. Today was the first time LTE reached their house.
I believe that the Caribbean Cinemas site will get LTE and NV soon. The 3g speedtests show sub 300kbps speeds so no NV live yet on the site.

EDIT GOT IT. 107 RSRP. bummer maybe its the plaza del sol site or another one close by.

Ok so at my parents house which is close to plaza rio hondo I noticed that my phone was on 4g at my room. As I did a speed test it dropped out so I went to a window that has the mall infront of it.
Toggled airplane mode and 4g became stable there. (If I moved from that room it would drop out like it did in mines)
This is a picture of the site. (I may be wrong because the building has two antennas that are similar about 10ft away in the same rooftop) but netmonitor says thats where I am connected. sorry for the flipped picture

LTE spotted from a site on top of Caribbean Cinemas in Plaza Rio Hondo....screenshots and report coming in a few mins.
EDIT: Apparently the LTE is coming from another nearby site, not the caribbean cinemas.

Been a while since I posted on this forum. (finals, etc).
Firstly, on my epic 4g touch I experience like others full NV at the Mayaguez Mall/Krispy Kreme area.
Secondly, i scored a great deal in the local classifieds for a mint pebble blue GS3 with two oem samsung batteries. It belonged to a sprint employee(we made the deal at his store). He told me he was selling it because sprint gave its employees note 2's recently. The phone costed me $225.
went to the Plaza Del Sol area and got 5-6mbps of LTE at 2pm aprox.

Forgot to ask, have you seen improved speeds from that site yet? When I get home I'll test it and see where that gets me.

im in a apartment near western plaza and my viper is reciving ehrpd i think that im reciving data from the añasco tower
download netmonitor from the play store and click on the map. If you can post a screenshot of the map with the tower.
I think you are right, the site labeled 274 is north of western plaza If I'm not mistaken.

Sprint hurry up with Mayaguez D: Literately every market around our city has been upgraded.
-
How is that NOT good? That is almost 2mbps and 1mbps up on a 3G connection. You are not going to get much more than that in real world conditions. Hell you have a weak signal at -106 too
I'm asking myself the same question. This is 3g which is giving you good speeds already...

Got the epic 4g touch, no more delayed texts!
I really have to say that the folks at the Mayaguez Store are simply awesome. After getting my phone I enjoyed talking about college with them and it turn out that 3 of the employees working there had graduated from the University of Puerto Rico. Its so rare these days to get service like this.

I have a Dmax thomson 782 modem/router...everything seems fine, is there something that I should check?
-
I don't text much when I'm home, its the calls that crap out.
Every call I receive gets dropped immediately after answering it.
So its a huge plus for me. I'll keep an eye out for the text issue though.
-
I just found out that the home I'm renting for college has an extra phone jack near the kitchen(its a DSL connection) all i have to do is check if the jack is working and then i'll move both devices. (airave and modem)
Another thing I'll have to do is check if the GPS cable is long enough to reach my kitchen window.
so far, I'm just glad that I have coverage inside the house without getting dropped calls .
Sprint should design the next airave with built in wifi

Airave arrived and its simply amazing. The only issue I have with it is that the signal strength in my room is spotty but thats kinda my fault for having my modem near the front door of my house. I am thinking of calling my ISP and arranging a tech to move my modem somewhere in the center of the hause.
Also, I'm going to go pick up my epic 4g touch today after classes. I can't wait to get rid of the Gnex.

None of the metro areas are complete, they are still testing them and some places don't have the equipment installed. Now, if you go to the southern areas like Ponce, Arroyo, Las Piedras you will see consistent 4g service bacause those were the first areas that sprint completed.
I'm dying for sprint to turn on the Rio Hondo site so I can get service at home
