  1. I see, cool. Well, from my experience. You don't always get the info on the gate. I normally havr to seek a power breaker with a label.
  2. No doubting but how do you know it is a Sprint Tower? Looks all At&t
  3. Bean Burrito Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 2
  4. I do have Lte and the Note 2, as well as the S3. N2 is way better hands down. My house is on the outside edge of a signal. (-106 to -111 RSRP and very high SNR) The S3 once in a while picked it up and jumps on and off, on and off... keeping my data in limbo. sucks big balls. The note 2, I walk out side and it grabs within seconds and holds. N2 seems a little quicker on the web under 3G. I can set both my S3, my Wife's, and The N2 next to each other and the N2 Wins every time. Holding both and going outside. N2 will switch and when ever the S3 gets it, its not holding it. In a good Lte area but at the edge of the map. Example, Texas Motor Speed way. N2 will have already switch and the S3 might have?... Nope, oh but my wife's S3 did... (5 mins later) There it is. You can never tell unless you cycle it. BUT, if your in an area like southern Keller, TX. That has real good coverage, they all work fine it seems. A big deal is the note doesn't jump on and off over and over when its right at that point of getting it. If feels like the S3 isn't as strong but the threshold is to high. Where the Note is stronger with the same threshold. a lot smoother switch between 3G and 4G on the N2 as well. Also I have a real had time getting Wimax 4G with either of them. Thought they would fix that on the N2.
  5. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Battery I was going to post this in the other thread but thought it may hold it own. This topic normally does. Just on a whim, and to tease my family that I talked into getting the S3 (7 now), I'm running the battery to see how long I can get it under normal conditions as I normally live out my day. Then Ill go for the Best time. NORMAL: GN2 was fully charged via the 2 amp USB charger it comes with. Stopped at 9%. (about the time I normally screw up and forget to charge it over night). Total Battery Time: 23:14:36 on Battery Talk time: 1:49:27 Texts: 142 Email: Sent: 15 Rec: 24 My mods: Stock Deleted most apps Apps that update only do so twice a day and weather ea hour. Black background I deleted the Connection Optimizer I deleted Email and Exchange Server Network: Mostly WiFi, Then 4G, then a little 3G. Notes: I did plugin a couple times to my Desktop to move over a couple file to mod the feature.xml. I also never use WiFi Direct, but I did last night and sent a ton of pics to my Wife's S3. I'm also about 3700ft from my tower. Screen Shots: BEST: I'll post this in a couple days. What's Everyone Else getting?
  6. Someone said that Deleting the Connections Optimizer will help the Battery. Makes Sense, wanna make sure it doses anything. Seems good so far.
  7. What? Those pannels look damn good. Lol. All sexy with its strong obillities. Is it wrong I wanna touch them. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 2
  8. Its the Sprint Connection Optimizer. It will kick on as soon as it sees a saved network. I'm seeing a lot better, but... I don't run any apps that update more than twice a day and I've deleted 80% of the stock apps including Email and Exchange Server. I have 20 apps in my drawer (6 of them are hidden). I popped out the Battery and fully charged it on a external charger and I'm sitting at about 27% as of right now. Medium usage. I'm at 1day 4 hours. I did plug in a couple times while in my truck for about 15-20 mins. Mostly Wifi and Lte now that if grabs outside my house.
  9. At the Android BBQ. Wish I could have been there... Anyways, Thought it was cool and shared.
  10. Yaaa, I think we know who the seller is... While your on google, check this out if you haven't yet.
  11. So out in the real world today officially with the Note 2. With out a doubt, it response to the network way better than the S3. Its picks up Lte a lot faster and holds it like a big boy. None of this bouncing around stuff. Speeds are the same. But man, I can walk out side and use my phone now. The S3 would sit there and bounce back and fourth making impossible. Love the fifth row numbers. Took 1/4 the time to load my 12k text messages back in, as to the S3. No lag opening the messaging app after loading 12k text messages back in. S3 took at least a min, and sometimes crashed. Lol Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Its way to odd. He could pass off as someone in IT just selling stuff, but he has to odd of a mix kinda like a pawn shop. but a pawn shop wouldn't take the networking stuff. Like he works for places and sells stuff he gets, or from friends. I'm asking the seller for the back story on it. He's 10 mins from me. lol. He got the close ups better than me. damn...
  13. You spend countless hours on a site called "S4GRU". LTE must be coming...

  16. Not Yet, and don't try anything yet either. It will be up very soon. Chainfire is going to make a new thread for it on XDA
  17. You can turn off the shortcuts on the lockscreen
  18. I hate the S3 Forums at XDA. Mods suck, and 80% of it is hate threads. Won't give it the time of day. Didn't feel like helping dev anything for them. I miss our Epic forums and people. I hope the Note2 will be better. I think I might keep it. I went to use the flash light and it was half the power of my S3 and I about S*i&. (stock widget) Use Tiny Flashlight by Nikolay, he a cool guy. Strobe works too. lol
  19. There wasn't a line here. Walked in at 12pm. I'm still 50/50 about it. Feel like I need that push. A thing that sells me on a phone is the Development too, and I. Have a feeling its going to be real weak. You guys really feel its better than the S3? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
  20. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 Nope, leave it off. Don't do it. Life will not be the same at home. It changes a person and you don't get that innocence back.
  21. Never mind trusting someone else's comparison. I just know while using my Epic, I always complained about being outside with it. I haven't had the issue as much with the S3 and I know I've heard others say the same. But, I haven't literally compared them side by side so you might be right. I will try it and see.
  22. DO IT!! I'm going to play with it for a few days too. See if its worth losing my GS3 for it, as the wife said I can't have both.
