  1. Here's the model/carrier list: https://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/#iphone-se It's a little early in the integration process to shut off phone offerings and sales through Sprint. That will eventually happen though. However, it's already gotten to the point where T-Mobile makes the device announcements and Sprint merely repeats/retweets it. That's not a small thing.
  2. T-Mobile is making new device announcements now on behalf of Sprint. The @sprintnews Twitter handle is just retweeting @TMobileNews Tweets and Sprint's Newsroom site has been deprecated, referring users to T-Mobile's Newsroom. The new normal.
  3. Excellent point. I completely agree. 👍 Personally, once the merger was in process to eventual closure, I wanted Masa to lose as much money as possible on it. When his equity in New T-Mobile dropped, I was glad to hear it. He belongs on the same list of incompetents that Forsee is on: https://www.fiercewireless.com/special-report/worst-wireless-ceos-all-time
  4. https://www.forbes.com/sites/robertreiss/2020/04/14/the-sprint-t-mobile-merger-and-the-surprising-history-between-john-legere-and-dan-hesse Interesting read.
  5. I agree. The Android Police article I linked to doesn't even mention Sprint as a "separate" carrier anymore. Damn, that was quick.
  6. That's a good question: Verizon announced an exclusive version for its network that has support for its mmWave: https://www.theverge.com/2020/4/14/21220454/oneplus-8-pro-verizon-carrier-price-release-date More info at: https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/04/14/oneplus-8-and-8-pro-4g-5g-us-network-bands-and-compatibility-guide/ The T-Mobile version lacks mmWave support. Sprint hasn't announced anything yet. Given the merger, I don't think it will.
  7. I'm sure that T-Mobile will want to accelerate upgrades for those customers, but in a sustainable way. This was just announced as well:
  8. We'll see what kind of accommodations are made for Charlie.... "Highly confident letters".... That's a good one.
  9. https://nypost.com/2020/04/12/ergens-wireless-network-plans-dim-amid-coronavirus-pandemic Charlie may have hit a snag here....
  10. I'm sure every site across both networks is getting a full audit. I agree. It would make sense to make all the upgrades on one tower visit/climb.
  11. Great information! Thank you! One thing we'll have to get used to is how quickly T-Mobile deploys stuff (except for the temporary effect of this pandemic). We've watched Sprint stagnate for so long over the years, so it'll be such a relief to see real progress for a change.
  12. That is a good question. Probably will never get an official answer from Sprint for that segment, but T-Mobile.... well, maybe from Legere if he was still running things.
  13. Interesting how they're breaking out the statistics now between Sprint and T-Mobile.
  14. So T-Mobile will have to keep filing those monthly "Band Reconfiguration" status reports to the FCC until the rebanding is complete. Here's the most recent one: https://ecfsapi.fcc.gov/file/10402116410705/800 MHz Report April 2020.pdf (Dated April 2, 2020) Still one public safety licensee and one non-public safety licensee remaining after all this.... Hopeless.
  15. Report: Metro by T-Mobile puts non-exclusive dealers on notice That's interesting...
  16. I think that the 600 MHz spectrum, combined with the increased economies of scale and buying power from the combined companies will really help with that.
  17. T-Mobile hit the spectrum jackpot with the Sprint Merger. It's going to be a monster of a network when they get everything aligned.
  18. One thing I noticed... He didn't "@" Sprint. He did "#" instead. Perhaps the new brand guidelines are already a thing? See this video from his Tweet as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gblKI87IcaM&t= EDITED: I just noticed in a later tweet that did "@" Sprint.... False alarm.
