The construction will involve attaching an Omni directional antenna, UE Relay, and Remote Radio Head with a GPS antenna along with all needed auxiliary equipment needed to an existing street light and new utility poles. The particular areas chosen are known to be particularly dense with users and these attachments will help alleviate the traffic and provide better coverage to the citizens of San Diego County. Please see attached for propagation maps that demonstrate the areas that our attachments will provide coverage and alleviation. I wonder how I can obtain more information on this...

Could Sprint do the same?
-
Many places that my S7 could not hold on weak B25 5mhz, is now holding on B25 10mhz and usable. Some improvements, seeing much less 3G past few weeks. Hopefully full steam B41 on all sites and small cells fill in. Yesterday @ Gaslamp Downtown for lunch, Tmobile pushing 100mbps, VZ pushing 50Mbps, Sprint unusable 2CA on B41. We need small cells asap.

? Are too funny? Coverage for me is ok in San Diego with Sprint. Our usage would be cost prohibited using Verizon because our business account averaging 300GB a month for 20 lines. Now Verizon is offering unlimited for 20 lines and we will be paying $600 month, actually cheaper than Sprint with superior coverage in So-Cal...

Sprint is not too dense downtown. We will need small cells or new sites to get better indoor coverage. We can only hope CAPEX will flow through San Diego, much needed upgrades throughout the county.

Havent see 3XCA on B41 yet. Sprint been busy pushing 10x10 B25. No new sites or existing work going on since early last year. If your in an area with B41, consider it good as no new known B41 activities. Hopefully soon we will see some more work to get all sites with B41.

I have a credit card for auto pay and it shows the discount. I don't think it's just limited to debit/checkings. -
I decided to make the switch to Verizon too for my personal account. Been with Sprint/Nextel for over 10 years. I am a shareholder, very hard decision. Sprint only deployed 10x10, 5x5 and swiss cheese B41 in San Diego. At home I get sub 1Mbps on Sprint 10x10, right now 6:30PM PST peak, I am pushing 80Mbps on Verizon. It is day and night coverage on Verizon, as Verizon is king in San Diego and has huge customer base. I hope Sprint one day will blanket B41 in San Diego, but not a single permit since early 2016. In 2019 we will wait and see where Sprint is at with their 5G. I am holding my shares, we will hope they will do very well with 5G and will likely be switching back.

I have been with Nextel now Sprint since 05. We have been loyal. It is just not cutting it anymore for me in San Diego. I cannot speak for everyone, but $240 for 7 lines ($34) each is a no brainer for better coverage. Note I did not say speed. I am still rooting for Sprint to be better since I am a shareholder, but I have suffered long enough in So-Cal.

If Sprint wants to be great in San Diego, they simply need to do it like Vegas. It's little too late, Verizon is the strongest in So-Cal IMO. They have LTE coverage everywhere. With Unlimited, I have no reason to stick it out with Sprint even though I am a shareholder. I went hiking in Poway, the family was pulling 40+ Mbps on Verizon in the middle of the mountains. Verizon is not too bad since they have many many small cells all over San Diego. My workplace maybe 10Mbps tops on Verizon, but I can live with that as many places I go with Sprint, 3G indoor. LTE is better than 3G IMO. My cousin is a manager at a Verizon store, I will have more clarity on the limitations tomorrow. Just gather up to get 5-7 lines, it would be worth it. We are switching our entire family with 7 lines to Verizon. It comes out to be $34/line assuming we can get 7 lines on unlimited. $120 first line, and $20 per additional line.

All my friends and family all were on Nextel, they moved to Verizon. Some are paying around $400/month for 6 lines and they don't care. What they would always say "my phone will work when I want it to work". No argument there in San Diego. I personally have been holding out for Sprint to do better. I would have left Sprint long ago if Verizon had brought back unlimited. I guess that day has come. Sprint in San Diego has been dead last on Root Metrics past several years. Many would pay for the premium and I know plenty that does.
