  1. Why would I be a troll for asking a legitimate question?

Sprint in Louisiana is pretty horrible anyway, from my last bout with driving around that state.  So its probably your market.  Nearly everywhere else has greatly improved.  The 3G only areas I will say are not so good, but they are improving more every month.  This is the primary reason I am not leaving sprint, plus the unlimited data as well.

  2. AT&T has been hitting mid 40's for DL speeds in the Harrisburg area.  I was at Sam's Cub off of Grayson road yesterday.  Tested AT&T in the parking lot got 45.15  DL and 40.99 on the two tests I ran.

I don't know if it is good or not, but on my iPad i put the sim card in and am getting about 19.35 down and close to 10 up.  Not sure if that is good or not for an iPad.  I am having a bit of an issue though.  The sim card i have is now on a tablet plan.  wonder if i have to call AT&T and have them switch it or if i am just screwed...

  3. Probably a question for mikejeep. Does scp show bands for different carriers? If so then I don't see why it wouldn't show band 12 or 13 and the company that runs the signal.

When I put in my AT&T sim it picked up AT&T Band 2.  dont know if that means anything.  Is band 2 one of their slower or faster bands?

  4. Let me be the first to say that you are so lucky to have network vision completely finished in your area.

Hey Terrell i read earlier that you swapped out your sim card with an AT&T one.  So I suppose I am wondering is your Nexus 6 a Sprint one?  with that being said did you buy it subsidized with a 2 year contract or buy it outright.  If so I am just curious because I would like to try out different sim cards in mine, but so far I have had no luck, tried a T-Mobile sim but it does not do anything.  Is there anything special I need to do?  I have been told AT&T service in my area is not bad. Thanks.

  5. I can tell you that you should be fine picking up either Band 25 or Band 26.  I live over 7 miles away from my nearest tower.  Assuming nothing really solid (I.E. a hill/mountain/concrete wall) is in front of the sector facing your home then you should easily pick up LTE there.  I pick up both Band 25 and Band 26 at my home.  Band 25 ive noticed is about 3 to 8 dbm weaker than B26 here at my home.  Hope that helps.

  6. You'll have to ask mikejeep in the SCP thread if he can add Screen Reset as a new feature [emoji16] [emoji6]

I wish you was serious...  LOL.  I know my screen is pretty much stuck with SCP burned into it.  Its not a huge deal.  Like i said thats my Hotspot phone.  So I dont really mess with it unless I am reseting my connection.  I was just curious thats all.

  7. So today I went to restart my Galaxy S5 that is primarily a hotspot.  And to my suprise I see screen burn in...  Looks like it isnt such a great idea to leave signalcheck displayed 24/7.  lol.  Is there any way to fix screen burn in?  or is my screen stuck with the Signalcheck burned into it?  Its not a huge deal.  Im just curious.

  8. Has anyone found any trouble with making calls. About half the time I'm able to receive or make calls. The other times it just sits dialing. Seems to only happen on LTE though. Data is rock solid though, no issues at all about that.

Yep same issue here.  It happens to me all the time on LTE.

  9. What cases do you guys recommend? I like the cruzerlite style TPU cases. Any feedback would be appreciated. Currently lookin at the TUDIA ultra slim on amazon.

I have the clear one.  It works pretty good so far.  Got it from a TMobile store because all the sprint ones were out.  Hard as heck to get the phone intot he case.  But after its in it works great.  Has a kickstand and its clear.  and it wasnt to badly priced.  Should have been cheaper, but it is what it is.

  10. Well Jags game service was pretty horrible.  Well inside of the stadium at least.  I had great signal, but could not get any download speed whatsoever.  Tried several things to get phone to work, but alas no luck.  Went outside during half time and connected to a Clear B41 site and it was pretty good.  38 down and 12 up.  So not bad around the stadium.  Just a huge black hole inside.  lol.  I was connect to a Band 26 site while inside the stadium.  When it did hit it was hit or miss for the most part.  Game wasn't to bad either.  Towards the end at least.  The first 3 quarters not so good, but end result Jags one 25 to 24...

I did have clear B41 all over Jacksonville.  Didnt drop down to 3G at all within the city on my Nexus 6.  So things are getting better.  I did connect to 1 Sprint B41 tower.  Still trying to figure out which one I actually did connect to.  It was briefly.  It did seem like my Nexus 6 once it caught onto Clear B41 it didnt want to drop it for anything.

  11. Another thing I noticed is that the Edge was connected to B41 (I guess samsung's misreporting that properly on SCP) and the N6 was on B25.

Also as a side note: N6 typically not as quick to grab B41 as my G3, that might be the case here as well vs the Edge.

Actually I have had the same issue grabbing B41.  Ill be camped on B26 on my Nexus 6.  While my Galaxy S5 connect to B41 right away.  Must be priorities.

  12. Is anyone having issues with ambient display? Mine worked for a bit and now it's not working at all.

At least your screen didn't die the first day making it a very expensive paper weight. Lol. But luckily this one I have now works great!

The front speakers are soooooo awesome sounding!

  13. Hello,

Does anyone know when the Roaming agreement will become live so sprint phones can start LTE roaming on its partner networks? I am looking to buy a Nexus 6 as its fully CCA/RRPP compliant. I tried to ask sprint and they just told me to visit the newsroom for updates. its been about 8 months since this was first announced by sprint.

    Thanks,

    John

It takes time for stuff to happen.  lol.  Think about how long its taken Sprint to do the NV upgrades.  So I can imagine that it will still be a bit until they actually are fully CCA/RRPP compliant...
